Just imagine Africa countries united for political and economic independence. Africa has that population and business will change peoples lives forever. Traveling within Africa should only require an African ID and drivers license. That would be a dream come true
Nice one.l can not believe custom is asking people to leave their phone or passport behind to be sure they are coming back.Such a crude way of thinking.Someone that does not intent coming back wouldn't mind losing an old phone, you cant use the sim in cameroon anyways, you need a new sim..Nigeria need to ban all these checkpoints on roads, there are better ways of protecting a country in these day and age,not checkpoints. They need to build that same immigration complex in seme border.Seme border need something like that more than cameroon border..Nice trip, thank you.
Thank you so much 😊 You have a great point about leaving phone or passport We thought of it too 😂😂😂 We haven’t been to the seme border before Hopefully soon 🤞 Cheers mate 😉
Nice experience. Ethnically the people across the border will have similar culture and food. Just currency and official language will be different. It's when you get to the bigger towns that things may seem a bit different. But honestly, apart from electricity, I don't see the difference between Cross River and that side of Cameroon. Would be nice to see you drive down to Douala and subsequently to Yaounde but I doubt you'd be able to use your Nigerian plate number over there. If you decide to embark on that trip. That's when the Cameroonians at the border play nice
Absolutely right 💯 There wasn’t much difference except the clouds ☁️ We definitely would love to explore Cameroon properly but that will definitely need to be a completely planned trip 🥰
@@ArlinTv true. It has to be a planned trip. It would be nice if Nigeria and Cameroon collaborated to construct a more direct dial carriageway with tolls to link Calabar with Douala. That's where there would be massive economic gains for both countries as you'd be linking two port cities of reasonable sizes and economic potentials
This are the things we keep complaining about in the other side of southern African countries, there supposed to be a free flow of movement around the African countries trade and tourism we are Africa, there should also be a railway system linking the whole of Africa continent ❤❤❤❤

I am watching from America, the driving is confusing, do they drive on the right in Cameroon? Seem like they were driving all over the place, very scary 😟
Well I think it’s a border and boundary thing So once you pass the border you are cleared and “assumeably” 😂😂 in Cameroon but then the bridge is like the actual boundary 😊 Hope it makes sense 😍
I guess you don't travel outside the country often but never surrender your travel documents to anyone. You just crossed an international border without any form of identification. A lot could go wrong in a hurry and you will have a hard time proving your nationality. Next time plan your trip and go through the proper procedure so you will have something to share with your viewers.
Hello ,my name is Christian I'm Cameroonian, I want to travel to Nigeria by road but I don't know the safest road! Please is there someone here who can help me ? 🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🙏🙏 🛣️
I guess you've not really learned your lessons, why drop your passport(your identity) with someone at a boarder? What could have been your respond if you had encountered the Cameroon authorities as soon as possible?
Did I hear you right that you gave your phone and ID to a custom officer? In my best voice of that woman that said “had it been that I know you, I would have given you a dirty slap” and her hand land on the other woman’s face. Next time ask the officer where it is written that you have to drop those things, if he can’t provide the document, they have no choice but to let you through.

How much is the payment for stamping passport
As a Canadian who has travelled giving up your passport is very unsettling. We are cautioned to never give up our passport to anyone

We noticed that too
At the border area there seems to be some disorderliness 😂
If you passed through all the border checkpoints and were in Cameroon why is the bridge still in Nigeria?

Your narrative is confusing. Are you saying Nigeria built a bridge inside cameroon. Sync your video with your narrative
