That piece is the rubber isolator that connects the engine to the pump it goes between the three winged things to connect them. It’s a normal part to wear out. 👊
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I’ve never encountered a coupling like this before. I guess that little rubber spider thing is something I should definitely keep on hand. I bought two so I would have a spare. I did get it installed and functioning again and will have a video out on that in the near future. Appreciate you taking the time to comment. 👍
@@HobbyUniverseOutdoors it’s an old way to connect two drive shafts in a way that allows for slight misalignment while reducing vibration and it can act as a safety mechanism if the driveline is overloaded. Definitely worth keeping a spare one around for long term reliability. 👊
