I dont mind the random loss at all. Honestly I think it makes the videos more entertaining because you cant be certain Martian ist gonna win the game if there is a loss sprinkeld in here and there.
I remember one of the odd warrior videos from 10,000 years ago: vs big priest. He managed to stay alive and stall for a very long time. Im pretty sure he lost in the end though, due to how stupid big priest is. It was still entertaining to watch.

Not that it matters much, but the Alex in your deck code's ETC is using the invalid core set version of her which has rotated out. I'm sure that might confuse some, but I figured it out pretty quickly.

That alex was a core-specific release, was never a card you could find in packs. How else would someone acquire it?

I don't know if you remember, some time ago ysera dream cards got buffed, "dream" is now 0 mana and can target your own minions, and "nightmare" now gives +5/+5 (and the others changed cost as well)
I'm a huge druid fan so I thought about a crazy combo.
For this combo you'll need :
- Ysera (the one with the battlecry : give you all 5 dream cards)
- Aviana
- some reset mana minion (kun, eonar ect...) or just crazy amount of mana thanks to guff
- a minion on board that can attack (or a charge minion)
The idea is that if you have a minion on board you go aviana + reset mana + Ysera.
Then you play "nightmare" on the minion that can attack and you throw Ysera back to your hand with "dream".
And you repeat the combo until you have no mana, so it basically gives +5/+5 for 1 mana each times, so you get a +50/+50 minion in the end that one shots the opponent.
I think it would be really fun to see this work fine.

Martian, quick question about 8:28 if you don't mind. Now, I'm not the best player in the world, but I like to think I'm okay. Though i don't play Druid, so maybe I'm in the wrong here, but why did you play Guff and only guff this turn? I would have thought you'd play the 4 mana Dragon for tempo then play Guff in the same turn. At first I suspected you didn't have a draogn cause I think that's the "If you're holding a Dragon" condition, but it was yellow and active.

Nestmatron combos with Anivia Bran for OTKs, but idk if it was worth holding at this stage of the game, especially since I played Guff on curve. I won’t lie to ya, when I was editing this part my first thought was “why didnt I play that?”. I dont remember if I was trying to save it for when I drew Aviana and Astalor/ETC or if I was just distracted and excited to play Guff. I would probably play the dragon there having thought about it but its not strictly better.
Yet another instance where Martian plays a video game successfully, neglects to uninstall, cobbles together choice bits, and hands the bits to a streaming platform whereby the public can view the results - of all time.

Re: old highlander cards. Pretty sure they didnt change those intentionally. Having an off switch for highlander cards in wild seems kinda important, the density of them and their effect on the game being quite significant makes me believe they will not be changed. Possible that a couple of them do get switched, but switching all of them kinda seems wrong. Also wild has this card called Jade idol. |As much as I want to be able to play reno druid in wild with a jade idol package that can get rolling super early in the game....I am not sure if they should let me [and lets be real...let you ..because it would be you killing people with it].
In standard helya was just to pervasive an off switch to highland decks that they are pushign people towards, so a change had to be made.

I love playing druid but I'm trying to play other classes so that I can get the golden portraits for them too.

I've always thought the eye beam animation would make more sense are a Mage skin. If they wanted him to be a druid, what about him just THWACKING someone with his tentacles that are right there? similar to that one colossus octopus animation on death where he just bonks a bunch of minions to death.
Do you think we're at a point where card draw for druid is so good that there's no need for Psychmelon anymore?
Psychmelon is good when it grabs your full combo, and combos that can be tutored with it tend not to be as good as brann astalor.
