This film is Christmas. If someone who never experienced Christmas before asked me what it’s like, I’d just say watch The Polar Express. The sound, the way it looks, its vibe & its spirit just sums up Christmas for me, especially when I was a child. Brings a tear to the eye.

Even as an adult who has fallen out of Christmas and no longer puts up decorations; when I come back to this movie it brings a nostalgic feel of Christmas joy I felt as a kid & that will always be cherished.
My dad and sister and I still snuggle up near the tree at my parents house each Christmas Eve and watch this movie. I’m 29 and my is 23. This movie is tradition for us!😊
no matter what religion, where you come from, where you are, and if you celebrate christmas or not.. We can all agree this movie is one of the best things that ever happened.

Mientras otro más lo preparamos no puedo dejar de llorar, este año será el primero que ella no está con nosotros. At least enough for those that grew up with the movie to find these tracks resonating in the best way possible.

It also reminds me of a few times from back in high school. One involved listening to Christmas music in August and September of 2018 during an era of nostalgia for me. The other time was going to an outdoor screening of the movie by my high school on Friday, December 13th, 2019. I remember it vividly due to the cool temperatures in the low 10s Celsius and the Moon coming up midway through the movie as a beautiful gibbous phase.

Truly one of the most cozy and beautiful films from my childhood. I miss those times. The first track immediately brings tears to my eyes.
