This is a kick a$$ string, which I prefer to more expensive options like Luxilon and Solinco. Beautiful feel off the stringbed and plenty of control. I string it at low tensions, usually in the mid to high 40s and it shines in this range. Made in Germany as well. Can't be beat for the price.
played with this for 2 years straight more or less... incredible control and not a bad feel... but soon started to feel mushy and the low power was annoying but still a string that would bring memories if i used it nowadays. then tried gama moto, and its a strangely fragile string, loses control very quickly but its a light string that gives a nice quick touch.. not so powerfull as well cause the string ist that great ... spin wasnt great but i used to like it although... it has a raw feel i dont know. now im with hyper g for some years and its a rubust string... control and power... amaxing feel... completely different
Nice decsription of the Hyper G string - robust. It feels super crisp, has some unique "cracking" sound during the hit and has great control, power and overall playability is very pleasant and easy. I think it's a string quite close to Poly Plasma, but with a more refined touch and detailed feel. It has this crunchy sensation that makes you want to hit more and more. Very good string for a wide audience. I think the weakspot for this string is maybe the tension maintance, which can drop quite a bit from time to time. But I have played only once with this string and it was something fresh and new for me.
@@nicholasvasconcelos5316 Obviously in terms of spin due to the hexagonal shape. Durability will be a little bit worse, but it will have more bite and control.
Listen. I have found a great combo. Solinco tour bite and Prince Duraflex. It's settled. Plays great. However. My next and most recent combo is the poly pro Plasma mated to Yonex Dynawire in the crosses. Can't recommend this highly enough. Racket weight and swing weight are the guide to your tension with this combo. I blay with a racket that weighs slightly less than 11 ounces. I string at 40 lbs. Magic. If you are playing with a heavier frame? My advice is go as low as you can.
@@CzechTennisGuy Another recommendation . Strap on a Leather grip. Nothing better to accentuate those bevels. Example. Scrambling out wide. Feedback from the handle tells me I am not in my optimum grip to hit over a ball down the line. But may be perfect to throw up a deep ball to buy me time to center court and as well center my grip. I use a lot of subtle grip changes in my game: Nothing better than leather for that 'feel"....which is not list with a thin over grip. Per Joker🤣 As well string tension Is secondary to the properties of the strings used. And racket swing weight as well as swing production. Short vs Long vs moderate or fast speed. But primary to all of this is string properties. Example my same frame strung with a complete bed of multifilament I string at 55....but tour bite is firm and duraflex is also firm. This allows me to go 40lbs with the same control as the multi at 55lbs. But the difference being at 40 more pop in serves and voilleys. And the low tension is more forgiving in defensive positions stretches wide far better touch. To throw up a lob or a dropper or a heavily sliced cross court. Leather and the lowest tension you can handle for confident shot production is the key to a winning game. With the leather I can play with a lower tension. Whereas that same tension with say a gamma Hi-Tech replacement grip does not allow me the kind of feedback to make those minute adjustments in swing thateatjer affords. It's that enigmatic "feel thing." But you know it when you find it.🤪 Good Luck
Hi, this racket is a power frame like Pure Drive, so there is not much control in this racket. But if you string it with a shaped poly, the control will be better. The Poly Plasma string comes also with a Hex version for better bite, spin and control. So to make this racket more control oriented, you need to use a stiffer and shaped string.
Tried this year ago. Agree with you. First time it was a little bit harsh but after became good.
Hi, the signum pro poly plasma1,23 is fantastic string, and signum prp tornado is great
This string is amazing, at 44 lbs/ 20 kg in speed mp still very very controlled

Great string. Even better is Hex version. Stiffness is not so bad if tension is not over 24kg.
I was looking on their website and they have several versions of the Poly Plasma. The hex looks like a nice spin option.
better in which aspect you think? control, power, spin, confort, feel, durability... I'm thinking of changing my standar SPPP to the HEX version

Hello
I’d like to hear your opinion on control from the string vs control from the racquet.

I developed arm issues with this signum pro experience... Had to change
I think it depends on the tension you string them. You really need to lower the tension to get the comfort out of it.
