Killer lesson. Playing the Beatles forces you to really listen to the music and understand the feel of the song more than pretty much any band ever. It's why so many Beatles covers sound bad even if the notes are "correct." The songs are so much deeper and nuanced when you really listen.
Another fantastic lesson Mr Hart. Absolutely beautiful song and you play it so well and teach it even better. Thank you and please keep the fantastic lessons coming.
Love that you incorporated the sorta bass line in with with the descending on the Bm chord. Haven’t seen many tutorials include that, but it’s arguably what makes it so soulful imo. Amazing tutorial man. Gonna be dedicated to this till I nail it.
Howard, you nailed it once again, after surfing through many channels, I stumble upon yet another wonderful lesson of yours, best one hands down, clean sweet clear picking showing exactly how to do it. Thank you so much! 🤟
What a fantastic teacher. Clear, concise and correct, in a soothing voice who talks like he's been doing this for quite a while. Well done and subscribed.
I already had the chords & verse down from other people's UA-cam lessons. But... Your version is a real challenge for me. I hope I don't give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the coolest Beatles songs (damn there are so many!) and your lesson is top, top, top! I can't wait to try it with my Broadcaster! Thank you so much!!
Questa è un capolavoro bravissimo sei un grande ci voleva proprio congratulations.....sorry i don't speak english......saluti dall'Italia.Sei un mito.👍✌
Never realized how cool (yet totally doable) this song was! Thanks for including the alternate versions. You’re a genius! On a side note, I think this song may be the closest the Beatles ever got to Led Zeppelin. It was recorded about a month after LZ 1 was released, but I know Glyn Johns let the cat out of the bag before its official release. He said neither the Beatles nor Stones camp was impressed. I wonder about that now.
Interesting observation... The Beatles were getting heavier at this point in time. I'm guessing they were influenced by the heavier music that was starting to arrive on the scene. I seem to remember some audio from the LET IT BE sessions where Harrison is looking at the first LZ album - and he comments on Jimmy Page or something?
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart ... I think I found the audio clip you mentioned. I was just going by what recording engineer Glyn Johns said in his book Sound Man (2015). It's a good read! :)
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart When someone asked Harrison if he had heard of Jimmy Page a master lead guitarist, he said no, who's Jimmy Page, almost with a cocky attitude. I read it somewhere.
Thanks Howard for all the songs posted. We have pretty much the same likings of all those Classic Rock bands that changed our lives forever. Thank you for the great job! You’re very good in teaching all of them too! Keep on rockin buddy!
I LOVE your videos , they make wanna play guitar again , ive ben playing guitar for a year and a half and sometimes i dont feel motivate to play , but thanks to your videos im playing more often , if you dont mundo the idea i will like to see you play my dark sweet lady , thank you for your videos , keep it up

Hi!! I am a big fan of this tutorial. You have done an incredible job capturing the essence of such a cool song. I was wondering if you have a full cover of this song? I am a choreographer and dancer and I was hoping to use it for a performance. Is there any other way I can contact you to send you some more details?
Very well played out and thorough for us. Thanks yo I'm gonna learn the shit out of this classic tonight! Surprised you didn't add the dope bass walk down fill in the end there. Just for fun. And cuz you map it out perfectly

I'd like to see thsi will o'd school chord diagrams. Never learned to read tab. Trying to understand the little "improve part" at 8:41 that you "included in the tab"
I'm a beginner in guitar so I don't know much about it yet. I would like to know if at 8:25 to do the effects, you have to push the string towards the low end because on the video he pushed it towards the low strings but if the score it is indicated that it is necessary to pull them towards the treble strings.
Hi - Actually, either way is fine. Different players might choose to do it one way or another... As long as you can perform the bend accurately, either approach is fine. I hope that helps - Howard
I am a complete rookie with a Stratocaster that I've had for about two or three years I would love to be able to play this but I just cannot teach myself I have a hard time learning anything without an actual teacher please help
Barre the 1st fret (5 or 6 strings... either way is fine) - Then use either your pinky or your ring finger for the B string at the 3rd fret... Hope that helps :-)
One of the greatest Beatles riffs ever. Thank you for sharing !
My pleasure!
