- This is Aarons TN360, currently for sale, details and link below in the description.
Incredibly restored and an absolute hoot to drive. Cars from the 1970's have never been so rad.

I don't need to sell the car. I just want to move it as I don't drive it. Car is immaculate and is a good runner.

Une petite merveille tout simplement, avec juste ce qu'il me faut comme options ! 😍
nice Honda !!
Love it! Dad bought one new (in 1974 I think), as his work vehicle (he was a ceramic tiler). They're actually an interesting vehicle. The 6x4ft tray sides can be folded down, and even fully removed, allowing oversize cargo, such as 8x4ft sheets.
Anyway I was so used to working on it (the engine particularly), that I actually bought one for $350 in '76 as my first car (well, the model just before this one - '72(?) which had an embossed H in the front panel, single headlights, and flipper windows).
I had a temporary job in motorcycle spares, and found that one of my customers had a couple.
They'd modified them somewhat, so I did the same with mine...
1. Replaced the (split-rim) wheels' narrow outer halves with inners, chrome plated them all, and mounted Mini Cooper S tyres (165/70R10).
2. Re-sleeved the cylinders 9mm bigger, and installed CB450 bike pistons (and a hand cut copper sheet headgasket).
3. Cut the two exhaust pipes just behind the back axle, and installed a pair of "hot dog" resonators to replace the muffler.
With these improvements, it used to sound like Ducati Desmo, and cornered like a go-kart (albeit with the inside rear wheel cocked up like a dog) 🤣
I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 1979, and it happily carried all my belongings down the Hume in about 11 hours (carrying ~750kg Tare according to the Marulan weighbridge). 😎
Haha what a rad story!! You still have it?!
@@joydrive Unfortunately no. I sold it about 5 years later for $475 ;-)
Btw, I also had a tiny Zot (Honda Z360 2 door) bought second hand in Melbourne around 1979.
On afternoon we went and bought a new TV from Myer at Chadstone, and after driving around to the loading dock found it could not fit in either through the hatchback, or in through the door. So I told my wife to drive across the highway and wait for me in the service lane so I could simply rest it on the roof and walk alongside for the 700m trip home. She didn't understand and was gone when I reached the other side! It took quite a while to get it home, having to rest it on every front fence I passed!😖
I also bought new a fantastic 1989 CRX, with Mugen mags. What a great car! 🥰
More like this please!!! Love it!
Thank you! That's the plan, hopefully 😂
Loved the opening drone footage!
Thanks man! :)
Just got mine running and drove it for the first time
Ah sick, such rad little cars 😎
I love this car..
Thanks! Me too! Ha.
So Cool :)
Thanks man! :)
One same as this for sale in UK in a lovely yellow colour
Yessss, love a yellow Honda 😍 from that era the yellow will be so dull too, super retro 😂
That is awesome! Just needs lawn mower blades underneath...
Sod that, wouldn't be able to spin the blades 😂
Got the owners Insta or something? i have the opportunity to get one of these in Perth too and want to ask him about how he restored it.
Sure do :) instagram.com/oneill_a?igshid=29mhb53ns5m9
Could definately do without the instagram filter :/ Try to get a more detailed mod list so you actually have something to talk about while your driving the car, if not try find some history on it to talk about because I feel like you spend a lot of time umming and arring trying to think of what to say next. Not sure if the owners don't like being in videos but I feel like thesmokingtire does a good job having the owner talk about the car because they know everything thats gone into it.
Also tone the music down a bit it super overwhelming; it's supposed to fill the quiet without standing out but its so loud I can't focus on the video.
Just a bit of feedback mate no hate
Ahhh I loved the washed out look haha. I spend a good hour color grading. Point taken though, will try and scale it back next time!
Most owners don't like to be on camera - I usually get a brief run down on the car and do as much as research as I can time permitting. I did miss some things here though, trying to find better ways to get the information across without being too scripted - working on it! :)
Music surprises me, I drop it by quite a lot but then I guess I do edit using decent headphones, so maybe the range is reduced and the voices become quieter maybe, will drop music more next time!
Thanks man, always good to get feedback rather the stupid "can i suck your dick" comments 😂
