You are right. All episodes are emotional, very much. And the reason is, everyone can find a relatable episode. For me, this was the most relatable one. I'm a beginner writer, never wrote a whole book, and only published one story publicly, even that is in an E-book with other writers. I had a friend, a girl, who used to be my beta-reader. I was her beta-reader too. I thought we were truly friends, kindred spirits, until something broke - I still don't understand what was it. The point is, she hurt me, and I could not keep being friends with her. It wasn't love, "just" friendship, and yet, I felt like the writer in Episode 7, here. I couldn't write. And I'm still struggling, even after half a year. I'm not saying this episode helped me to "move on", but it certainly helped a bit. You were really wise, Biss, when you said "Sometimes people need a closure". It's very true. Most people who lose someone, lover, friend, relative, doesn't get a proper closure. And an anime, a book, a play in the theatre, or even with a conversation with a stranger can give them that. Those moments are really precious. Also, as a child, I used to play the piano for years, and grew up in a musical-art school, called "Lukin László Ének Zenei Általános Iskola". We often performed in the local theatre or went to watch plays. Those moments stayed with me, forever, and they became stronger after I watched it. Also, alcohol is a huge problem in my family, and that's why I decided to never ever get drunk. People died because of it, relatives, or destroyed their relationship. I don't even want to talk about it, I just mentioned it - because this was also a subject. I think this was the episode what truly resonated with me. And you are right, this is the first time we see Violet crying and becoming really emotional. The power of fantasy - reading a book start it in her. I think this power is often overlooked. Fiction can just as strongly affect our life as reality. It was also very interesting to see that Violet now understood Hodgins' words about her situation. She had "scars", invisible ones. She didn't feel them at that time, but as she's becoming more and more emotionally sensitive, she can realize the weight of her actions. Yea, long story short, this is my "soul-episode". Not my MOST favourite, but the one that resonates me on multiple levels. Thanks to you, your followers got to watch this anime - and they might find the closure they need, or the power to grow emotionally. I'm aware I might sound stupid and idiotic now, sorry for that xD I just can't keep praising this anime, since it changed my life. And I believe it can change everyone for the better.
