I remember that one! my girlfriend at the time didn’t think the Ryobi joke was very funny since that’s what she had… except she kind of matched the description😬

As an electrician, I can use the duster to blow the mess that I make toward plumbers' working area. Of course they say I could use a "broom" for that purpose, as long as someone explains to me what that "broom" thing is.
That Mellif air duster looks like an EXACT KNOCKOFF of the genuine Makita ones. I have a Makita LXT 18v DAS180ZO (I got the limited edition in Olive Green colour which is denoted by the O in the product code). They also sell a 40v version but I don't own any 40v tools at all which was the only reason I went for the 18v and the thing works wonders and looks 99% like the one you have besides the part where the logo is located, the battery connector part of the tool and the design of the sticker over the speed selection button on the base the handles and attachments and back of the tool look the same and I wouldn't be surprised if I could just get the Mellif attachments as replacements to save money if they are quality enough. That Makita one is real good and the dust filter in the back works wonders. It looks dusty AF but when pressing the trigger it still smells almost like the factory scent meaning even with that much crap it has filtered and trapped it still works and filters wonderfully and the genuine filters are not badly priced either they're £5 here in the UK from a Makita reseller which is probably around $7 USD that is compatible with both 18 and 40v versions since they are the same tool with a slightly different base for the different battery connections
I've got the XGT version and it's also great. Had the same the same thought as you - I wouldn't be surprised if the Mellif version is made in the same factory as the Makita using the same moulds.
I’m looking for the coast light with the bite sleeve. I have never seen one and didn’t know it was a thing. I’m old and it takes two hands to do anything and for me biting my flashlight is the only way I know to hold it 😂 As always, another great video full of honesty and without any unnecessary BS. The tangent about UA-cam was interesting.
I dont know if youve reviewed or ever used the Neck lights by Milwaukee, but they've been one of the best buys for me ever period. I don't even carry a flahlight with my anymore. I need to crawl a lot as a plumber, or on ladders, this neck light is such a handy tool! also its usb rechargable
It's real cool to see tool brands getting into headphones for field/shop work use like that. It's actually a legitimately different use-case from consumer brand stuff, so I'm glad they delivered with them
I have that NOCO GB40, worked for most of jumps I did. The jumping of my generator it ran out of juice and had to use my truck to get the generator started. Going to go to the GB70 or GBX75.
I enjoy your videos short and long format. Thank you for all your efforts and for having a good humorous and realistic outlook on things! Happy 2025! Cheers!
Eh working in a dirty environment that bite thing is a no go for me. Id much rather a short Stubby light with a magnet and a hat clip or something. Been running an olight baton 3 and 4 with the little charging dock and man is it a game changer. Admittedly a little chunky to hold in your mouth on the odd chance you have to do so but eh such is life. Much love man and I wish you a wonderful new year!
I own quite a few of their jump packs and a couple of chargers, and the Best thing about NOCO is the warranty, if anything goes wrong with them you send it to them and they will send you a brand new unit, not a refurbished one or your old unit, they are so awesome that i’ve had some units that were out of warranty by at least a year and they still honored it as a courtesy
Coast is awesome. As a mechanic myself, i have warrantied out like 5+ hp3r, and the newest style is great. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. Highly recommend!
The Noco GB40 is a good brand, I've had one for years, is a good unit, holds a charge well, I've jumped cars several times but it really works best on lawn mowers and such, but i agree, it needs one step up for bigger engines and really really dead batteries.
DCS438 cut-off tool is probably my favorite power tool. Runner-ups are the DCL045 folding LED hood light and DCH133 SDS+ rotary hammer. My DCF899 half-inch high-torque impact wrench is still kicking strong but I had to knock it way down the list just because the DCF900 and DCF961 exist. Can’t justify those unless I run into something the 899 can’t handle.
Just want to say thanks I’ve bought many tools based on your reviews. A couple of my favorites have been the icon, flush cutters, and a blower from meliff for the m18 batteries. Keep up the good work and I’d love to see people review and test torque limiting extensions.
Dude been watching you since the beginning, started with the shorts. I'm a few years your senior but you remind me of the good old days. Glad to see your subs rising you will be at million real soon. Congrats!
Have you thought about doing a series on soldering? As far as correct technique, iron care, leaded vs unleaded, etc? I'd definitely think about giving my pinky toe for it to happen!
Love ya brother .. one of the few people who have Honor , Honesty and Integrity.. Torque Test Channel and Project Farm and FarmCraft101 are the others at the top with you. Prayers and Love to you and your family !!!
Good review. I like that DeWalt cutoff tool. It seems a no brainer to bring that to market. Looks much safer than using a CO disk in an angle grinder especially in sheet metal. Maybe I ought to sell a couple of my 6 angle grinders and get one.
The Relay Pro is such a convenient time saving tool, not having to think about which blades you need to attach each clamp to to test the relay properly. And more versatile than the fixed position testers.
If you have one of those 3" Dewalt cutoff saws, I'd recommend getting a 24 tooth carbide saw blade for it. Cuts though sheet aluminium and plastics like butter! Wood and pretty much anything soft as well. Install it backwards so the chips fly down. Available on a-zon, but be sure to get the correct arbor size.
@@jacksmith2315 The blade I'm referring to is directional. Typically, circular saws have the blade oriented as such that it pulls the workpiece into the shoe. This results in a stream of hot metal chips being flung at your face. However, as you so cleverly pointed out, this unit is operates in both directions, allowing one to install the blade reverse direction and avoid that unpleasant experience. Just hold on tight!
I promise I watched the entire video just wanted to say airwalk button up is pretty sweet I remember wearing airwalks in high school anyway cool shirt man
That's a nice looking flashlight you got. I just started electrical and I needed a good one and I don't like headlamps so I got a USB-C Husky flashlight (model 91309) and it's been dependable and rather bright. Only thing I am not a fan of with it is that to turn it off you have top cycle through all the lighting modes before it turns off. But it's chargeable off my battery bank so it's good. I think i got it for around $20CAD back in November.
Hey for that cut off wheel there's a guy that mfgs. a conversion that will turn it into a band file. I have the Milwaukee, bought the tool only for $99. The guy is sort of proud of his creation so that was $50. Then I went to Harbor Freight and purchased the pneumatic 3/8ths band file for $27 and removed the arm and installed it on the Milwaukee using the conversion kit. All in I'm it $156.00. Milwaukee finally decided to offer one and it's variable speed but it's $249 and the belt is 1/2 inch. The 3/8th inch is best for door work.
I prefer the GB50, I don't think it's too much more and you get a bit bigger capacity and a higher output. I've had issues with my GB40 not starting a V6 hyundai in the cold and also had it almost start my old Corvette a few times. Decided the GB50 is the way to go, the huge one (GB80?) is also great and will start anything but I couldn't justify the cost.
The flashlight review is what I wish companies would understand. If you make the product quality the first time you save money and retain customers in the long run. It's nice that Milwaukee tried to make it right by replacing the light with a newer model, but you'd already replaced it with a product you liked better than the new version which was worse than the original. So they lost out either way.

it's that thing witches use like a plane, don't know how a prop for flying helps clean anything up though

Yup.

I've been checking out some automotive sensor simulators...very cool for diagnostics. You should do a review of one.
I’ll have to take a look at that. I didn’t know that was a thing 👍🏻
I love your videos I'm subscribed so I get all of your shorts I don't think you've made a bad video yet
