The art direction of this game is truly amazing! If the gameplay is on par this game can be something very special.
Indeed, from everything i have seen it looks ridiculously good. But we will have to see how it turn out once released but i have high hopes for this game.

Jedi survivor, Remnant 2, lies of p, Lords of the fallen and blasphemous 2, this year has been incredible for the evergrowing souls like genre!!
Glad to see Wo Long wasn't listed. It was kinda mediocre.
As someone who played through the first game , lemme just say, the art direction now is definitely a step up. At least the isn't just a snowy castle now and looks a lot more diverse.

Kinda makes me wish we could get a metal soundtrack to go along with it. Playing Mortal Shell with the Rotting Christ music made the boss fights better.

I'm expecting outstanding art direction coupled with mediocre level design, flawed gameplay systems and performance issues at launch. If the game can surpass my expectations then I'll be happy, but usually soulslikes always fall to the same hurdles, and UE5 developed titles as well almost always take a while to get smoother.
This must be one of the better gameplay trailers I 've watched. Hopefully the launch will be smooth and with minimum amount of bugs. Looks good!
I hope there is crafting, side quests, dialogue options and skills to level up like mining

This game has what elden ring has. Direction and purpose in art. Makes it stand out. Not hyperrealistic for graphics sake. Nice atmosphere.
If it has a pc interface newer than 1980, it has more.

@@hotwheelsing Probably, just hoping I dont have to scroll thru 12 spells with a mouse wheel only to miss it and begin the scroll again. For me, the most difficult boss in Souls games was the interface.

I'm more curious as to the ramifications of starting boss fights through Umbral because if it's basically just having only one life then thats kind of a missed opportunity add in unique rewards

Oh Nioh is more like diablo and dark souls put together. It has the combat of a dark souls for the most part but the loot system of Diablo.
It has mmo-style magic effects, too colorful everywhere, i'm afraid it will not have the bleak atmosphere of diablo 2 or dark souls. It looks like someone is trying their best to make a similar world but doesn't truly understand that aesthetic. Bleak Faith messed up a lot of things but it nailed the atmosphere and the world.
Diablo + dark souls is literally nioh lol
please don't ever mention the diablo franchise ever again. That is a fiasco that will be a forever stain in human history
@@ah2522 Bro what? I get the hate for diablo 4 right now but why attack the whole franchise? 1 and 2 were amazing and groundbreaking, 3 was eventually really good and 4.. well 4 is 4, but that doesn't mean the rest of the franchise is bad.

Seems like a beautiful homage to Souls like, berserk, Lord of the rings and Dark Horror fantasy. lots of cool art designs, hope the game is great.

I’m so excited for this game!!! The only thing I am concerned about it the sound engineering and voice acting. Idk it just sounds lackluster but hopefully I’ll be proven wrong on release!!
Great visual style. I hope this is a sleeper hit like Lies of P and doesn't flop in the gameplay dept. Lies of P is exceptional and as close to a fromsoft game as any soulslike so far. I hope this follows suit.

Does anyone know if classes are limited like the first one where you can’t use certain things or abilities, or is it like souls where you can branch out to different play styles later on…or like wo-long where there’s a basic level cap, but can make several pre-made classes to choose from at any point?

I really hope the world feels alive and imteresting and not like a barren wasteland with a few enemies and structures here and there, the rest looks perfect, really excited for this game.
I work outside so touching grass is my job , i have 0 problems sitting at home playing all these souls like games for the next few months

Looks amazing but the real test, as with anything that wants to tread the path of Fromsoft in the souls-like genre, is the combat and that will be the deciding factor for me. So far none have really managed to compete with From but I REALLY hope this does
Lies of p and this competes pretty well elden ring was the worst and easiest combat they have had overpowered magic and weapon abilities are not needed
@@TyrizzyThe3rd Dark souls already had OP magic, Pyro was a no brainer tbf. Lies of P is amazing but its focused on parrying more than anything, not so souls

finally i was waiting for another soulslike AA game that came close to The Surge
Playing lies of p currently and loving it however boss fights are so hard i get a feel this will be Little easier and more fun so that many new gamers will Play and enjoy.
It looks like the player will not be weak and slow and actually able to defend themselves in this game
