To answer your (99-100) question is that since it’s new the battery control/meter hasn’t fully learned that specific battery yet. It has a pretty good idea from the voltage the battery is putting out but not exact. When you get a new power station sometimes it helps to charge to 100% and then completely run the battery down to death. This helps it learn the actual full capacity of your battery.
For example a 1000 watt hour battery could really be a 981 watt hour capacity or a 1006 watt hour capacity. Just variances in pieces and parts.
Love the videos, hope this helps!

Thanks! Kinda surreal to see that number when I opened UA-cam after being out of cell range for 3 days!

I'm guessing you don't have an EV. The charge rate begins to drop off dramatically after ~80% state of charge. A great analogy I heard was, "Imagine filling a glass of water with a pitcher. When the glass is empty, you can pour the water very quickly, but as you inch your way to the tippy top of the glass, you have to slow down your pour so you don't spill." Spill, in this case, means explode in a giant fireball.

That's a good analogy. I don't have an EV but have driven and charged a few ... that has been my experience as well. Curiously, the AC240 seems to keep the same rate of charging up to 99% then take forever to get to 100%. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it's just indicating 99% but not actually there yet.
And yeah .... exploding in a giant fireball doesn't sound like what you want.
