I had made this "engine" with 2 solenoids in my school project in 1972. When one iron was pulled into its solenoid core, it struck a T-shaped switch which activated the other solenoid. A very simple but powerful engine.

Nice start but should show simple diagram of electrical circuit and more details about cam/switch activated by flywheel. That would be helpful to understanding the electrical concepts involved. Mechanical side is pretty simple and easy to undersand. Sources for parts to build motor?

Suggestion, include description and specification of components.

Curious what the max rpm would be with actual manufactured parts. Also wondering if the coil could be smaller for higher excursion.

How much voltage we have to give this project

36 volts or 24 if you want to be safer

I would think 12 volts would be plenty, maybe 20 volts.
Good.. i like this video because useful.. thank you bery much..
At last you are making working machines instead of silly fake free energy ones. Well Done, this is very good idea.
When you watch closely you will understand it unlike other videos,it's smart and simple
Or maybe it aint real and thats why its simple
this will be the technology for the future

Brother which type of magnets are used in this engine?
Pobably neodymium magnets, they are very strong and a pain to seperate again

Is the supply ac or DC? What is the voltage required for it?
It would be DC. I assume that that is what the switch on the pulley was for; to give a signal to the relay to reverse the direction of the current.
