I hated how some plots were side lined, especially the potential stuff involving that gym program and his daughters
Well at the time they were pandering to the masses of Halstead the horn dog and his latest hay roll.
the jail guard is the one that got paid
Love this show❤😊
Oh my God this is so heartbreaking for me, Al was one of my favorite character in this show I miss him a lot and I cried so much and for so long 😭😭😭😭💜💜💜💜
u mean the anime female that got stab to death?
@@swethetster excuse me but I think you should read what you just wrote 😉😉
One of the things the show lacks in recent seasons is a foil for Voight someone who plays off this more maverick traits who sticks to their guns and reigns him in. Al came up with him since the old days even if Al was willing to go along with Voight’s way he was the level headed of them both and even though Voight and Antonio butted heads they did have a genuine friendship. It does not work with Halstead and Upton because they seem more like kids who need baby sitting rather than equals to their boss.
I love u guys so muchhhh 😊😊
I hate Denny with a passion
this is not that realistic because they do not say the rights to the person that is getting arrested
Cops don’t have to read your Miranda rights upon arrest. They are required to do so when they interrogate/ ask the arrested person questions (patrol officers would do this since they tend to investigate after someone is caught committing a crime)
When I first started watching this show I kinda got Voigt. He bent the rules but he got the right results and put the bad guys in jail. The more I watched the more I realised that's bs and he embodied every cop who "bent the rules" to "get the right result". He was a crooked cop who enforced the rules for HIS views on justice.
Everyone knew he had a stash of money which he amassed from his years of crocked dealings. There was even an episode on this. When his supposed best friend got put in prison for covering up a murder Voight was responsible for, and Orlinsky took the fall, all Orlinsky asked for was Voight to pay for his legal fees. Voight told him that he gave his money to his grandkid (who he barely knew) and couldn't help him.
I remembering watching that episode and thinking WTF? What's even more bizarre is that Orlinsky just accepted it.
What started out as a gritty show, just descended into drama and bs. I dipped out after a few seasons so maybe it got better, but I doubt it.
Dude you do realize that hank could’ve been doing this as a favor for all and not because of bribes right and that the money could’ve been from him working as a cop and money he could’ve had from other legal means you do know that right!?
@@matthewforsyth284 What? Did you watch earlier episodes? Voight was crocked and made a lot of money from that. It was why Olinsky thought he would pay for his lawyer, them being best friends and all.
Voight not paying for Olinsky's lawyer made no sense. It was one of the major plot holes and why I stopped watching. Voight went from "I'll protect you guys no matter what" to "you're my best friend and I know you are protecting me but I won't pay for a lawyer for you because I gave all my illegal money to my granddaughter". It made no sense.
Even Olinsky was like "ok dude, I won't rat you out, I'm just here in jail for a murder you totally wanted to happen but I committed but I won't rat you out.
The writing at that stage was TERRIBLE. I can only compare it to season 8 of GOT where it's so bad, we don't discuss it.
@@MsMaryPatricia uh no offence but you do know he tried to get al off and was actually very close to confessing right!?
Look I know he’s kinda crooked in the killer vigilante sense but still you do know that right!?
@@MsMaryPatricia oh oops sorry I thought you meant that Alvin had a grandkid
But still you do realize that it doesn’t matter because it’s still flights grandson right!?
Was he framed? I haven't download the full episode so I don''t know the full thing
Hank killed Bingham but Al took the fall for him cause he helped bury the body
I do wonder why they charge thy police for murd-never mind I continued watching the vid…
@2:55 jimmy barnes
The Sopranos with badges. Cops are supposed to UPHOLD the law not be outside of it.
