I can remember seeing these kinds of cars driving around when I was a kid, what a cool time to grow up in!
Me too! Looking at the fantastic designs of the '50's has kept me interested in cars all my life!😊
Me too
From the golden era of America, what a beautiful car
Greatest Cadillac...EVER! Even had memory seats❗️❗️
It also had mouton carpetry, cigar and tissue dispensers and even a cosmetic kit including Lanvin Eau De Toilette!
Now you're talking that's a Cadillac❤
I had a 1959 caddy white two door , one owner . To me it was the coolest caddy ever made to this day!
The 56; 58 were great. The fins on the 59, the rear end looked like a jet.
The old caddy’s were the best for sure
56 no doubt
Photo of you with it or you never owned one.
In my opinion the 1959 Cadillac was the most beautiful thing ever sat down on four wheels
This was the Cadillac that cost a fair bit more than the 1958 Rolls Royce, probably the most expensive, and best, post World War II car made at the time, and I mean in the world, not just the USA, and still a fabulous, and rare car.
Over $13,000 new, which in '58 would have got you 2 De Villes and an Olds.

LAadies in heels and on crutches
The body panels where hand made in England
This is an automobile!! Beautiful. “An American standard for the world!”
Dammm...that's all you can say!!! Is DAMMM
Love that color!!
Piece of Art !
Over the top outrageous dripping in excess "I love it".
WHAT a gorgeous car, the chrome seat brackets, the front MISSILES on the bumper
Dagmars.
This really is The Cadillac of Cadillacs 👍💯 🚗
Worth every cent !!!!
That thing is beautiful 😮💨🔥
A car with a personality, all its own! Terrific restoration!!
PERFECTION ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cool color red with the stainless steel roof. Just exudes class. Gotta love those shot glasses! When people were able to handle their liquor.
Beautiful caddy
Beautiful
Yes it’s a boat but absolutely stunning. Pure driveway jewelry, love it 🏖️
When Cadillac was truly the standard of the world.
That's a fantastic caddy!!
WOW!!!
Art from Ohio
Amazing to compare this 1958 model to the 1959 Eldorado Brougham which was custom built in Italy (and looked like the 1960 model in the rear and the 1961 model in the front).
Cadillac brilliantly put its future styling on the top of line models first.
Most beautiful luxury car ever built!!!! Those curves never end.
That was back when full size car's were actually full-size cars.
What do you mean, today's cars are huge?
You mean when cars were actually nice. ❗👍
@@myownsitetodays cars are much smaller
Actually, it is smaller than a standard Cadillac.
7 or 8 miles per gallon . No problem. Gas was 18cents a gallon too! 😮
One of the ultimate driving machines. ❤
That would be BMW
@@floyd8153 It would be but just for two potential drivers in the entire planet.. Perhaps, Germany's Prime Minister and you. That of course, if you can actually afford those almost reliable cars.
Wow that's a real automobile
ABSOLUTELY LUXURIOUS DELUXE RIDE
Be interested to know what body this car is? 498 is sitting in my garage. Beautiful car here. Mine's Copenhagen blue. Same interior.
Eldorado...
There was an article stating it's a 58 Eldorado Brougham which only 304 were made in 58 and only 4 in this color (Maharani Maroon)
Stunning work beautiful piece
"They did not pay too much for that Cadillac"
I agree, especially when you consider a new Escalade can cost in excess of $100K.
My kinda Buggy for sure 👍🏾 🎉❤
Beautiful car 👍
There was an article stating it's a 58 Eldorado Brougham which only 304 were made in 58 and only 4 in this color (Maharani Maroon)
Sweet I want it
It's one of the most beautiful automobiles I've ever seen. 200k was a bargain. 😂
Pretty car !!!
These were $13,000 when a new Series 62 convertible wasn’t even $6k.
I had a brother in law that had a56 dark green and ran likea top. Sunny would get 3and 1/2 gal. of gas and a 16 Oz. Pepsi and a pack of smokes for $5. At Bonded gas on Breckenridge. All I cared about was the pretty little thing I had in the back with me. Good times....
I have worked on several Mecum cars after the auction, they look good on the outside but had mechanical issues.
Worth every dallor and more
In this condition ans with all the accessories (if it had them) a fair price for an historic Cadillac.
👏👏AYCO CLASICOS presente en MECUM con este gran auto CADILLAC ELDORADO BROUGHAM 1957 restaurado con mano de obra 100% Mexicana
Engles por favor! En Los Estados Unidas !
I wonder if this is the famous Johnny Cash "one piece at a time" car ;-)
Cadillac Eldorado party hardy edition.
I'd love it
Like it better then 59, Caddy made the best transmission in the world forget R/R and MB
Bob Hope had one of these.
the 50s, when cars had great paint jobs, personality. cars are safer today but all look alike.
Now here's the funny thing, this is the only thing electric and Cadillac I would buy.
Amazing
Perfect
Help, I got sucked into the future and I want to come back.....
Temu did bring me here !
From the era of 400# front bumpers.
Can't drive it?,but nice to look at
So what would this have cost the original purchaser?
😍
Driving a big car with lots of power and a built-in bar. What could possibly go wrong? lol
That's not just a car
Back when they built Cadillacs
Ware have all the good cars gone
They all turned into plastic and tin. ❗🤬
The same place as the people who used to drive them. The past.
Did they get it one piece at a time?
No Because it wasn't a Johnny Cash Special!
I figured the bids would go higher.
But the 59 was the king of bling.
❤
I have more respect for a '78 rusted out Coupe deVille that still gets driven.
This is smaller then my 2010 Acura cl
Part car part rocket ship
Just to be clear, I do not watch and will not do business with any commercials attached to these videos. Great car, though.
what a beauty i would love to take that thing for a nice cruise test ride
Looks like ‘Christine’ aka Plymouth Fury
Came to post this.
These cars don't fit in today's garages.
All you need is a fur coat, dark glasses and a couple of women in short skirts with too much makeup 😜😜
I am de first
what-a-bondo bucket!!
what-a-D-o-r-k!!
It's fully restored and only has 124 miles on it. There was an article stating it's a 58 Eldorado Brougham which only 304 were made in 58 and only 4 in this color (Maharani Maroon)
Looks like the front of a Ford Thunderbird. ❗
20 dollars
