Close to 500 miles so far on my patton and 0 speed wobbles. Great on road/ off road. Stable yet nimble. Great torque and top speed. Amazing range for 2200wh (more than enough for my needs.) This might be the most well rounded wheel I've ever used.
Just changes from a v 14 to a patton. Just hope that I can get to 40 easy with less wobbles on up and braking then the v11. Like the channel. Also...is the button on the back the wheel cut off button for lifting? Next to the rear handle?
Hey Duf great vid again ! If you must choose one EUC for all purposes…. Would you choose Patton over Sherman s ? Thank you and keep going with the channel ! It’s really a good job !

I'm on the fence between the V14 and the Patton, so thoughts and impressions are super helpful in helping us make decisions since most of us have no opportunities to even stand on a wheel, let alone ride one to feel it out. Would you know of any brick and mortar locations that selling EUCs in the New England area? Thanks for all your insights, Duf.
I never rode a V14. I think the ride on the Patton is more plush which I appreciate. The V14 has a lot of power but a slightly lower top speed. The closest I know of a brick and mortar place "near" you is Ai Rides in NYC.
Beautiful wheel Duf! I’m highly considering upgrading my T-4 for this wheel, also considering the Extreme/adventure Do you love this wheel? I wanna have a wheel that good overhead , this wheel is advertised 50mph but is that not a speed to really get close to ? Great wheel! Thanks for your time hope your loving it!
Thanks for the "actual" speed test. If get A Patton if it could go long distances. My OG Sherman is at 50% after I commute 10mi to, then from town with hills. Would be a good replacement for my T3, though. 😉👍
This is in euc mph right? So actual speed was 40mph? I hope I didn’t miss that if you mentioned it already. I haven’t pushed my Patton past 30 yet. I don’t wear my hip pad either but I should 😬
@@Duf ok, I was asking about the fact that the euc over-report mph. For example, when it says 30mph on the Patton, actual speed according to radar gun is about 27 (it’s about 10% too high right?)
I've kept my SS in high speed mode since I got comfortable on it, not that I ride fast every time i go out. It doesn't reduce the torque so why ever take it out of high speed mode?
I was just about to ask this same question, why not keep the wheel in HS mode? Unless it has the same overhead but just doesn’t let you go 50, and just tilts back which would technically be more safe? Thanks

You can definitely get to 40 on the Patton without issue.

Relax Duf, just push it to the beeps, it is all fine. I am sure you can get to 80kmh with beeps or just push it till you feel that 80% pwm tiltback.

L mode is low battery mode. Will help you get home if you kill the battery in normal mode.

What is the tiltback% seetting based on? If its set on 70 it kicks in based on what? 70% of maxspeed or max powerusage? I never understood this.
I assumed PWM but I am not entirely sure I just know the default setting from Ewheels in non-HS mode was tilting me too early.

For me, just safety overhead although I did seem to use battery more than expected as well

I hit 43 on my inmotion v12 no problem.this wheel ihought would go faster.
It will go faster in HS mode, if you want it to.

@Duf I think your experiencing what we all call, Voltage Sag on your Patton.
