People are complaining about Kreator expanding their sound with their recent material in the comments, and all I have to say is... at least Kreator's putting their musicianship into actual use and not write the same exact stuff over and over again like Slayer for an example, who has been doing that for decades now.

Actually, Slayer has changed quite a bit; it's just not for the better. Go listen to God Hates Us All, and then listen to Reign in Blood (or Show No Mercy if you'd like a more extreme example.) They're only a shadow of what they were back in the 80's. Besides, there's nothing wrong with keeping a sound through your entire career as long as you do it well. Motörhead kept the same sound throughout their career, but nobody in their right mind considers Motörhead a bad band. Quite the contrary, they're considered one of the best, and their signature sound is iconic.

Actually, Slayer has changed quite a bit; it's just not for the better. Go listen to God Hates Us All, and then listen to Reign in Blood (or Show No Mercy if you'd like a more extreme example.) They're only a shadow of what they were back in the 80's.
Besides, there's nothing wrong with keeping a sound through your entire career as long as you do it well. Motörhead kept the same sound throughout their career, but nobody in their right mind considers Motörhead a bad band. Quite the contrary, they're considered one of the best, and their signature sound is iconic.
