I thought that I was the only one to notice something akin to their 90s records here, and TBH that's what I liked the most about this new track since that was personally my favorite era of the band.

Absolutely. And the fact that they got the bassist from DragonForce adds some power to the band as well. Because power metal and it's origin comes from thrash metal and Kreator is a German thrash metal group. So hey that's the reason I found this video is because of the bass player.

Helloween & Kreator ... it's good to see (or rather.. hear...) you still have such a great quality with your music... i love you . ... i had all the 80s albums as LPs .. Kreator was the "go-to" band for me,when something new came out... hrhm, I still got the covers of the LP "Renewal" from their 90s TAVASTIA,HELSINKI gig... with their signatures on it... "Frank" was back then one of the guitarists, but Mille came thru aswell,since all the chicks were out there waiting for them :)

"Enemy of God" (-Pleasure To Kill esque riffs...notably the title track), "Hordes of Chaos" ("Terrible Certainty esque riffs), "Phantom Antichrist" (-Extreme Aggression esque riffs), "Gods of Violence" (-Coma of Souls esque riffs...title track's fast parts are basically "When The Sun Burns Red") and this one, which has a butload of "Cause For Conflict" riffs. Interesting to see industrial-Kreator again. Time repeats again. It must be the 90's again. Gothic Kreator next?
