Great straight to the point review Scott. I have purchased these and completely agree with everything you said about them. Perfect for me on smaller shoots and light weight for gimbal work. I don't shoot wide open unless I need the extra light or I need the stylised look. Mostly shoot 2.8 or above
@@nes.torfernandez HAha, ok, fair enough. I get trolled here and there so I always have to cautious with what people are saying. But, yes, it would be an incredibly lightweight underwater lens.
I really look forward to all your content and reviews. What is your go-to daily use glass (brand and focal lengths) for most of your work and why? Have you ever made a "why" video on that and explain why you made that choice? I believe these types of videos, possibly in conjunction with the technical review, would take these vids to a whole new level of excellence. Assume using the Komodo or V-Raptor in your reply. Thanks
The 16mm @ T4 is very good! For underwater use on the Komodo with an EF mount and speed booster, it can’t hurt to have it just for the sake of it and its compact size.
Sure. Here is one for 16TB, but on that page are the same but smaller. I would highly advise going with 10TB or larger. The 8TB will be shingled write drives which are not good. amzn.to/4gwC0Qs

I hope they make a couple more in the series. It looks like they are improving with each lens. The 75mm is much improved over the others.
Can’t believe this is out, lol. Just yesterday, I was thinking, ‘Dang, I wish a seasoned RED user would review this set.’ 💁🏻♂️
I am unable to detect sarcasm or not on this? :)
@@ScottBalkum haha no I’m legit! I was using irix but it makes my UW system with gates much more heavy and big to carry and fly with it

Lenses with tons of character, are my comfort zone...
I own a set and have used them quite a bit. Æove the quirkiness
Love it!
