Wild that the players need to consider and we need to analyse who is online, who is civ picking, how much to play, when to Alt-f4, etc. Qualifying through the ladder still feels like such a strange choice, especially with only 8 spots available. Not sure if grinding lower rated players is a good strategey. Maybe u win a lot of games, but that doesnt mean u win a lot of elo. If u win 90% of the games against a player with 200 less elo but u get only 2 elo per win and lose 18 elo for a loss your elo doesnt change in the long run...not sure if aoe2 s elo is balanced like that
