Ha! Thirty years ago I sent a hard copy of an official purchase offer to Japan via FedEx and over $30 took a week. 🤬 Blockchain is easy peasy.

Is it possible to see the network fee for moving BTC and SHIB to a Trezor wallet before sending? Thank you. And thanks for this vid in particular.

How about if I sell my bitcoin and leave cash on Kraken? Should I I transfer cash to bank or it’s ok to keep it at exchange?

Can someone please throw me a rope here, I'm still developing my legs ... I just transferred $97 worth of BTC from Coinbase to a cold wallet & only $7 made it through. A $90 fee??? Am I missing something? I've made two other transfers in the past that only resulted in roughly a $4 fee.
Perhaps worth noting: The transfer I made resulting in a $90 fee was made at 10pm on April 19th, right in the midst of the halving. Was that right there my mistake? Making a transfer during such a wild time?
    Any help is appreciated!

When you make a crypto withdrawal from Coinbase, the last screen is a confirmation with a breakdown. The button says "preview send". And when you click it, you will see a breakdown of your withdrawal along with the fee. At that point, there will be a big blue button that says, "send now". You can choose NOT to do this by clicking the back arrow in the top left corner of that alert box, or simply clicking outside of the alert box to cancel your transaction. You might want to note your fee in the future. Yes, you are correct. Sometimes it can be very high, especially on April 19th. But you can always cancel it at the last step if you determine that fee is too high for you. You can always try again later when there's lower activity.

@@CryptoDad Barnacles! I didn't even expand it to look at the fees ... As a newbie, I didn't suspect any fluctuations from previous transfers. A notch in my belt of wisdom. Appreciate it, brother. 🤜⚡🤛

When you select MAX it utilizes all the UTXOs, so the transaction is more complex (more byte > more fees).

When I transfer BTC from one wallet to another I get fees on both ends. So I can see and except the fee shown when sent but I get an unknown fee when received. I don't understand this?

You have to clear applog and update firmware in that case.

Hey I still have ERC20 TRX in a cold wallet. Any idea if there is any way to migrate it without using Binance? Binance isn't available in my country

I don’t think so. I believe that ship sailed several years back. They used to have some kind of migration mechanism, but I don’t believe it’s around anymore.
