Hello C-Dad, I sent $10 BTC over to Binance from Ledger just like you did in the vid. It cost me $10.65 in fees just to send $10.00 in BTC.? In other words I paid $20.65 for 10 of bitcoin transfered to Binance. Wen I hit transfer the only options next was deposit or withdraw . If I hit withdraw, all options would not work Deposit, I had no luck as well. I have a question regarding how secure a Ledger is if it gets stolen and someone has your pin number for the wallet. Seems like the pin number is the only line of defense? Assuming we are not aware the wallet has been stolen, so there would be no chance to use the seed phrases to recover / transfer the cryptos to a new address before the thief send the cryptos from the wallet elsewhere. Hi Rex, thanks for clip. I've sent coins from NanoX back to Coinspot no dramas in the past. But I want to send ETH back to Coinspot and I've noticed the receiving address from Coinspot is Different to what shows up to confirm on my NanoX. The difference is with upper and lower case letters. For instance on Coinspot address the last letter is d in lower case where as on NanoX to confirm it is D, upper. Is this an issue do you think? And I noticed you don't really check that the addresses match on your NanoX to Coinbases receiving address.

can anyone answer this question - when do you need to enter your private keys (or verify them on the ledger device) in the process? Also can you view the private keys anywhere as from my research it looks like ledger live shows balances without needing you to connect your ledger which seems odd
You never need to "enter" your private keys. The private keys are stored in the device. You "sign" transactions with the private keys by using the buttons to "review" and "approve" transfers. You don't need the device attached to view your balance in Ledger Live. It merely displays the "public" blockchain information. (balance & transaction history). You only need to attach the device to verify receiving addresses and approve outgoing transactions.

You need Ethereum in your wallet to pay gas fees. You can't transfer ERC20 tokens out of an empty Ethereum wallet (Ethereum is the parent account)
