Always great CV - thanks man! Nice footage, solid insights, and I also appreciate the kit breakdown with weather - super helpful stuff. Keep 'em comin and thank you!
I really get a lot out of your videos. Makes me want to ride my bike!! With the cool weather in Oklahoma this time of year, I’m doing a Trainer Road Sweet Spot plan. So far so good. Keep the content coming!!!
Great to see you're trying to get more people out on the bike. You're inspiring tons of people daily I bet. Shirts are a cool idea! Keep it up and great video
What's with surging between 270watts and 800watts randomly up a steep little climb to start... You're just getting tired and gaining basically zero adaptive stress. And the KOM, to end. You rode at 300w then did a minute at 450... When your previous best is 550w for 1:52... Let's get you some coaching/teaching 👍
This was not intended to be a hard ride or attempt at a good time overall time. Just spinning the legs early in the base building season. Thanks for watching!
The last thing I want to do on my day off is go into work and do more of what I do all week long. Also days off are for working on bringing everyone more videos!!!
sram red is smooshed out of one piece of metal and, unlike shimano, doesn’t chomp into the freehub body. viewers know your drivetrain preference. time to put practical/performance considerations first?
I’ll do the lead out for ya Pal.
The compilation of 80’s action movie sound tracks is yet another reason why this channel is so great
Im going to keep the 80s music going, I think it works very well with being 30 something and riding bicycles!
I'M well north of 30 something, and it still holds true@@CyclingVirgin
I started my riding career on those PV roads back in the 80s when they where just being developed and restarted on those same roads 2yrs ago!
Good advice on the jacket. It makes comeplete sense.

Cycling is my religion. I feel I need to spread the word! 😂👍
@@CyclingVirgin great religion choice lol
Solid. I’ve been working on long standing climbs too with accentuated pulls. Now I’m climbing the full Shea over Ftn Hills effort. Great work CV
Thank you sir!
Man that beat is fire 🔥🔥🔥
Love the Lemond era glasses. Funny how everything comes back in to style.
They work so well! No wind as you look around, very nice to have a giant windshield on your face lol
@@CyclingVirgin Guess you can always take the off for off the fronts and TTs
It sees to be a defect with that line of Dura Ace cassette according to my local mechanic. I had to have my DA cassette warranted and replaced.
Some people have it... some don't. Young man... you have got it!
Did you add carbon tape to your helmet?
Haha yeah I did that in the spring after getting stung by a bee that got stuck in my helmet and haven't taking it off.
@@CyclingVirgin Lol... I thought you were trying to make it more aero.
I’m moving to AZ if 53 degrees is jacket weather. Hi from Minnesota!!
Hahah! Come on down everyone else is!
Great hill climbing tip!
I agree about Assos ....great stuff...i got the internediate jacket, andcthe habu...a banchmark for others
Keep it up man. Great video
Good stuff! Keep it up.
Nice hill work!!! I like the hills in your area. What is the helmet you're wearing?
Keep it up CV.
Loving that aerodynamic mod to the Protone :P
Aero is everything!
Happend to me too with dura ace...switched to sram red and forgot about it

@@CyclingVirgin My reply also wasn't meant to be hard 👍 I like your stuff. But 2minute unstructured smashers in Base, stop it 😀
Lol it’s base for when it’s time for BIG smashers!
@@CyclingVirgin Haha nice 👍
Exact same thing happened to me.
For someone who works at a bike shop, you have a really dirty drivetrain.
The last thing I want to do on my day off is go into work and do more of what I do all week long. Also days off are for working on bringing everyone more videos!!!
bikes are for riding
👌 🎥
broh , try Assos knee warmers. They are awesome !
I may give them a shot, I forgot they dont have the tight band!
What kind of jacket was it? This winter is killing me. I've lost too much weight so I"m not warm anymore
Its the Habu I belive.
were you at the shootout saturday? swear i saw you but looked like a different s works bike
I was not, BUT I want to hit it soon. If I go will vlog the ride!
Cycling Virgin cool, a good 75 people have been going lately it’s a good hard ride

Nope. 😂
Too many WATTS!!
Short and sweet!
Why i usually stick to ultegra.
Yep this happens way too frequently with DA cassettes. Either go with Ultegra or try a SRAM XG-1190 "Red" cassette.
@@kidsafe yep broke cassettes and chains.
