My 50 Cal blew up its the one where he nearly died
History lesson
Punt guns are banned everywhere because they did their jobs way too well
They put 10 species of birds on the extinction list from 1700s to 1900
Puntgunners made about 2 million dollars a month for bringing in birds in mass
Imagine that job
Oh...you don't have to image what this would do to a person, he's shot a ballistic gel torso with bones and organs in it...hell of a vid.
Erasure. Annihilation. Baloney Mist.
These cannons essentially were bolted to boats during hunting season's to shoot flocks of ducks and geese on the water, imagine a shotgun as that's what this is, but a shotgun that fires 1000 or 1500 pellets instead of say 8 or 10 lmao 😂😂
Yep that's a punt gun for ya
It's also called a Punt Gun cause that's what they called the boats they were commonly bolted to...Punts.
16:27 because firing a gun that big is absolutely terrifying
18:27 rapid, unscheduled disassembly
"I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs, loaded with golf shot. TALLY-HO LADS!"
Hellsing Ultimate Abridged
not a bad idea!

Respect on having a revolver man. They're the best imo. .22s are so fun
Would you believe that the intended target of a punt gun was ducks?
You’re joking right?
@battledevilkain1299 Nope. A punt gun would be strapped to a little, one-person boat called a "punt" (hence the name), which would then be rowed out into a lake. Once there, the gun would be loaded with *a pound* of bird shot (thousands of pellets), the hunter would take aim, and *BOOM*. They'd have an entire flock of fresh ducks to sell on the market. Punt guns are now illegal to use for hunting specifically because they were so effective.
@@Myomer104 the fuck would've been left of the birds for the market?
@@battledevilkain1299 Nope, they were put on small boats to shoot ducks that landed on the water. Similar weapons were also used as far back as 1400s to shoot cavalry off of horses. Idea is to fire 1000s of shot aka pellets and hit the legs of the horses throwing their riders off them.
GEESE. Those MFers.
Scott had a catastrophic malfunction while firing a .50 BMG rifle. He nearly died on camera. You should watch his video on it. Really good gun safety PSA.
The "safety" part of that really only applies to not using questionable, possibly sabotaged ammunition that hasn't been manufactured in 40 years.
Serious shady shit happened during the Cold War.
It is a great breakdown on what the dangers of a worst-case scenario catastrophic failure are, however; he's since made several videos deliberately causing catastrophic failures of various weapons as a sort of safety evaluation, though.
Respect for letting his ad play.
Cassius Marcellus Clay actually did use cannons for "home defense". He used it against a sheriff that he messed with after he retired from his position as the ambassador to Russia.
The first time I shot a .44 Magnum, my friend's dad put one round in and said to try figuring out the stance on my own. I limp wristed the revolver and took a barrel to the nose and got a nice gash between my eyes and a broken nose.
From that moment on, I knew how to shoot a large caliber handgun. 🤣
This is best practice for letting anyone try a gun of any kind for the first time. In the event they can't control the recoil (as you illustrated here) then if there's only one round loaded, there's zero chance of any negligent/unintentional discharges happening once the first round is fired.
Given what happened to you, by only loading one round, that man probably saved your life. It *is* possible to "bump fire" a revolver when someone can't control one properly for whatever reason, after all.
0:03 OH GOD I JUST RELEASED THAT, THAT WAS A PUNT GUN
Mad respect for owning a revolver
thank ya!
Look up his series on the 4 bore... the largest man-portable rifle presently on the market, with a quart pound lead ball bullet.
I own a Glock 21 for home defense, and a 12 Guage double barrel shotgun for home over kill.
War Thunder really isn't worth it unless you're into either massive grindfests or findom. Source: I've tried it myself
As for the punt gun, calling it an anti-tank weapon wouldn't be that much of a stretch since .50 BMG was designed for use against aircraft and tanks, and the very first more or less dedicated means of defeating armoured vehicles was just a 8mm Mauser cartridge with more powder and a steel core.
One reason why a safe is built that tough specifically a gun safe is in case the ammo that's also kept in there during a fire gets hot enough to wear a detonates in the ground start going off inside the safe
KB is crazy in the most awesome way possible, as for this "gun" it was used, mounted on a boat, to kill entire flocks of ducks.
'Thats a birdshot gun.
Moar Kentucky Ballistics!
12:48 safes have different ratings wich includes fire safety (if tested). This safe has walls this thick so that they can use a concrete core with a metal hull wich makes it cheaper. They also have to put the locking mechanism somewhere. The size of the safe is just depending on the typ of weapons and ammount of weapons you want to put in there.
Here in germany the rules are verry strict, so our safes are a little bit different. Most gun safes in germany have a second smaller safe inside because we aren't allowed to store the ammunition together with the guns. You are however allowed to store the ammunition outside of the gun safe as long as it is in a locked container
A gun safe that size can hold a wide range of weapons, ammo, and even documents you want to keep safe from home intruders or fire.
People have gun safes because people steal guns, and if a safe is easy to break into then it's not a very good safe.
Some safes are not fire safe. So, if you have a firearm and ammo in it, it won't work. Plus, it would be much harder for someone to steal it. I have one and had to assist a friend to move one from his old place to his new one.
You need to check out the vids he did with the Slo-Mo Guys.
I highly recommend his 577. Tyrannosaur videos

If yiur shooting SABOT or the led ball
Light armor targets have no chance
Depends on range tho
Depending on where you live, it is required to have a safe in your house if you own a gun.
I have to of those safes.
Damnit rave that safe was underage!
I have to tell you that warthunder is a grinding hellscape, but i do play it everyday. if you try it out, i will come watch
Not an anti-rank rifle, black powder weapon, and the bullets are the wrong shape and made out of the wrong composition of metals. Maybe it could penetrate a WW 1 era tank, but probably not much beyond jamming one of the tracks with a veeeeeery lucky shot into the suspension system.
Funny enough, the punt gun is a 1 gauge shotgun
my shotgun story is we use to have a shotgun that had a hammer on it.......cause reasons.......
ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
i was a lee lad. i decided i would put the shotgun undeath my arm(armpit) instead of my shoulder. my brother said i shouldnt do that, i said i know what im doing, my brother went oooookay.
i shot that, the gun went up and that hammer slammed into my nose and almost chopped the front of my nose off. to this day my nose is just fine, no nerve damage, but if you rub the tip of my nose, you can feel a bump where the hammer buried into my nose.
i didnt shoot guns for awhile. like i would get physically ill if i held a gun. i eventually got over that and even shot a shotgun for the first time like 6 years ago(was 27. i was like 11 when i had that accident)
War Thunder is a fun game, but it requires a fair bit of masochism
As WT player: I can confirm
Warthunder can be fun, but it is grindy as all hell, just like every single other Gaijin Entertainment Game ever made.
They also advertise that they have "less" RNG than "other tank sims" by which they must mean World of Tanks because there isn´t any other, or was at least.
But in reality that cool X-Ray feature thingy just adds 25% MORE RNG on top of what World of Tanks has, so that´s a lie.
But if you don´t mind the grind or the masive amounts of RNG then i guess it can be fun.
Who is the cute girl right next to you the pink hair one
that's a mascot of the channel and I am working on having her talk with TTS on stream more :D. Also thanks for the follow on twitch, got the notification while preping for steam in 30 min lol
