My beautiful cat Jurgy was run over 3 weeks ago. He loved the fields and trees around my Welsh cottage. Like Colette can no doubt feel Jack's presence, so I feel Jurgy around me and in the land around my home. One day I hope to have another feline companion. Not as a replacement but a companion like Patsy.

Hi Colette and Patsy, It's lovely to know that Patsy is getting back to herself. She is a sweet little girl. What you said about your glasses made me think of my mother who always used to say of things 'oh its too good for every day use' or 'we'll save it for best' which meant that almost nothing new ever got used! Consequently, when she passed, I ended up with vast quantities of lovely things in boxes that had never seen the light of day in her lifetime. A sadness to me really that she denied herself the pleasure of new things in anticipation of better times ahead when she would finally'get them out to share and which seemingly never came. It shows you have to embrace life and the here and now as you have done at Bealtaine and make your own better times in the present. Bright blessings to you and the little girl.
Lovely video and Patsy is such a sweetie. Yesterday, as I was walking , I picked the most beautiful leaves that had fallen by the roadside. In recent years six of my siblings passed away, the most recent departure this past week so I put each of their names on the beautiful leaves and turned it into a beautiful wreath in their memory. Nature provided all that was necessary for such a beautiful simple wreath. Blessings galore.

It is always lovely to rediscover something precious you had forgotten you had tucked away and bringing it into the light again! I have been doing the same with my various skills, my knitting is growing, seed collection sorted, books dusted and favourite ones about sewing, growing and cooking arranged in a special stack with some fabric remnants and candles lit - your scones look so delicious and the cup and saucer just right.
