I have been using the Amazon HSR 42 on my buell for almost a year now, love it.
    Things to note:
It came with pilots labeled 45,42 and a blank, I have found these to be generic numbers that equal to 25,22,20. Currently run a 20
The mains are properly labeled and I run a 160

Thanks man !!! Just ordered mine. My mikuni has been acting up so this is perfect. Swap the jets and I’ll have original mikuni for spare parts. My whole engine is polished so this is great fit. Thanks for the tips, I even saw your Amazon review while ordering 👏

The vacuum hose from the carb where does it goes ? To the tank or manifold ? Thanks

It goes to an ignition advance module, vacuum advance module underneath the gas tank somewhere.

to sensor VOES (Vacuum-operated electric switch).

@@Magnum.318if that vacuum hose isn’t connected to the veos will the carburetor not be able to get gasoline from the tank? I can use a squirt bottle to fill my new mikuni knock off but when I use the petcock with the tank about a gallon of gas no fuel is getting to the carburetor. The engine will run fine with a squeeze bottle just dangling and not being squeezed at all.
What does that switch do? What can I do to bypass it if the switch is missing?
I am asking this because many years ago I had a Dyna wide glide and, I think, unless the switch had vacuum it wouldn’t get gas. Again, I think. I am not sure because it’s been a long time ago and I’m getting too old to remember shit like this

@@MicheluceRizzuto Dear friend, this system switches the ignition angle depending on the engine load, measures the vacuum after the throttle valve. If the VOES sensor is missing, the tube must be blocked. Without it, the dynamics will deteriorate, you can set the ignition to a slightly earlier flash. This is not related to the fuel supply. Perhaps you have a fuel valve installed that depends on the vacuum, it may not work correctly if the tube is open. You can try to plug the tube with a suitable bolt. And - Dyna is a great bike!

How is it running since you changed the carburetor several months ago? I just bought a polished new knock off mikuni from amazon and saved a buttload of money like you did. I’m almost ready to get it on the road and ready to sell.
