I can’t believe I watched this whole thing. But it was so incredibly worth it. This was more entertaining than the Viking series. You do a really good job of story telling and making the game feel alive and real. Watching this made me feel like you were Ragnor and not just a character in some game. Great job!
For my critiques. I honestly have none. I liked the format. The pacing. The storytelling. My only complaint is that you only have one video. I hope you make more. This was very nice to watch.
Hey fren, thanks! Yea, I really want to try Realm of Thrones in the coming months, hope will have a chance. Bcause anyway if I will make another Bannerlord video it will be with mods and this one seems as the best one for such video!
I tend to go for a sort of Paladin, healer-warrior build which focuses on maximising the bonus HP and toughness of my troops. Letting me throw them at anything, while still having substantial combat skills myself. I'm not convinced high Cunning and Social are as important as a lot of people think they are. You really only need certain perks in the trees. Most of which you can get without going full on investment into them. It just takes a little longer. But that's offset by the fact that you level faster by using combat skills. So in the end, you get a character that can do almost everything well (if not perfectly), with companions to fill in the gaps. I never take Steward on my own character. There are so many companions and spouses who can fill that role, that to take it myself feels like a waste of focus points that can be better spent elsewhere. Reason being that there are no perks in the tree, unlike the other trees, that NEED you to take them yourself.
Hey, that sounds interesting, maybe I'll try it next playthrough! This approach will require more reliance on companions, but it might be worth trying for variety :)
@@ImperfectX Well really only one companion/spouse, to fill the Steward role. Everything else you do yourself. As I say, there are only certain useful perks in each tree and the build is aimed around getting them without wasting focus/attribute points on other things, or putting too many points into something when you don't need to. You can achieve 250 in a skill with just 5 attribute points and 5 focus points. But most useful perks come well before 250 skill. Especially for this build. The reason for the combat skills are to get +10 HP in the one handed tree, +5 in the 2-handed tree, +8 in the polearm tree, +5 in the athletics tree, and a whopping +80 HP in the medicine tree if you pump your intellect all the way up to 10. This gives your troops over double their normal amount of HP. This has the by-product of making you really good in combat, too. If you build carefully you can also get -100% escape chance to prisoners you take. Meaning you can just lock up enemy nobles forever. It's quite a niche build, but very powerful.
I agree, this is a really big health boost, I haven't seen a build like this before, definitely worth trying. It's a pity there's no respec in the game (I mean attribute/focus points), because I had an idea of respecing in the process, but I had to do it the way I originally planned.
@@ImperfectX I agree. You should be able to re-spec. Especially in a game as long as this one. But... I mean you kind of can in a way. You just go to the retreat and take over as someone else. And... to be honest, kids in this game get WAY more attribute and focus points than the main character you make at the start. They're extremely overpowered. So if you get to that point, wait for a kid to come of age... distribute their points how you want, then go the retreat and take over as them. You do have to level the skills up again, though. I guess that's why they get such boosted stats, to make it easier if your main character dies or you decide to play a different way.
I’m quite literally bout 5 min into the vid and I’ve subbed hope to see more of your content dude I can alr tell your vids are smth I could sit down and just enjoy

Thank you fren! Yeah, I think definitely will add such content later, when the channel has plenty of subscribers, otherwise, it will be really hard to win the competition here on YT and promote channel, you know.
Endurance and vigor 5, then push to 7 with perks from ath+smith. Keep smith at 4 focus, 5th point is a waste. Attribute points are the most valuable, so ignoring the "free" 4 pts from ath+smith is not optimal. Every build should start at endurance 4 or 5. My opinion.
I feel everything will be good :) This video performs really well, and most importantly, it showed me that I can do this. So I'm working on the plan on how to speed up video production and make plenty of videos in the next year. My goal is 1 video per month, but I spent near 250hrs to create this one and it's a bit unrealistic xD But I hope I will find the workaround.
Brother I create my kingdom but I have problem I have workshop and caravans and my profit is around 4k for day but now my tribute payments are around 8 k how to stop losing money and why is so high this payments
Hey! As I know tribute payments mean that your faction is paying to other faction(s) because you lost the war. If you have your kingdom it seems that you agreed to pay them when you discussed the ending of war on the diplomacy screen. The diplomacy screen is also can tell you when the tribute payments expire on their own because they are not infinite. So I think you have 2 options: - wait until they expire, but there is no guarantee that they won't declare a new war on you - declare war on them, and try to get some lands/prisoners/win battles from this kingdom so THEY will pay you tribute (but better create a save before this ofc)
I have never had the opportunity to govern my kingdom for long. So I think it will be better to check Reddit, since I may accidentally misinform you :)
Hey! Sure, based on my experience, there are 3 most important and fundamental points: 1. Prosperity of the town, it should be as big as possible and as I remember if the prosperity is lower then 3k then you will have really small profits. 2. Resources which villages of this town produce. For example if villages produce Wool you need to place Wool Weavery, if Olives - Olive Press, etc. Workshops buy resources from the town market, so if villages of the town produce needed resources then their price will be low. 3. Number of villages which produce the same resource. Like if town has 3 villages and 2 of them produce Clay and 1 produce Flax, then it will be better to place Pottery Shop then Linen Weavery. The location of the town also influences the profitability, whether there are similar workshops in neighboring cities, whether trade caravans reach this city or are robbed on the way, and so on. The smithy and wood workshop bring practically no income, but add a chance for rare equipment to appear on the town market. The most profitable workshop is Silversmith as I know, but there no so many villages which produce Silver on the map. Also, their profitability always increases towards the end of the game, and they are less profitable at the beginning of the game.
@@ImperfectX sorry I don't think you need 1 horse per man in your party for map movement bonus. It does help to have a good amount but eventually you would get the herd penalty.
Based on my testing, 1 riding horse per footman and you don't need riding horses for cavalry, but can use 1 pack animal per footman and cavalry. Only after this, you will get a herd penalty. Also, cows, boars, and other animals count towards herd penalty so there should be 0 of them. But maybe something changed and I'm wrong.
