Thank you for the time and effort put into your videos. Please don’t encourage new contesters to say, “Please Copy.” It’s extraneous, takes extra time, and while polite, detracts from the process. Thank you.
This video helped. I am an avid CW contester but wanted to try phone this weekend. And have a bunch of implants in my mouth so the less i talk the better. Playing the F4 my call helped. Tu es 73
Just came across your very-nice youtube video on N1MM function keys recording. For my side it is not clear witch software action you Push when you record the message? Tks!
Thank you Pietro. Use the ctrl and shift key. Then tap the F1 function key to record the CQ. Have a look at this page: www.k0pir.us/n1mm-logger-recording-and-saving-tx-messages-on-the-fly/
Just came across your very-nice youtube video on N1MM function keys recording. Please clarify how you processed the necessary recordings. Done as instructed, records but doesn't work correctly. Just activates TX and hangs? Best 73's Marc KC9VW
Hi Marc, that's a good question and I'll revisit it with a video when I can. Unfortunately I am in Memphis and will be here for sometime. I hope to get to this when I am in a more permanent location. Sorry for the delay. Let's keep in touch. Read the last paragraph on this page and you'll understand www.k0pir.us/transmitting-cw-in-ham-radio-software/ Best 73!
@@HamRadioAdventures Thank you for replying to my questions. Please give me a heads-up when do the updated video. Enjoy Memphis, it’s wonderful little town. Memphis was my father’s home town. His brother, my uncle was Shelby county’s DA. Plus teaching a Memphis law school. Anyway, enjoy Memphis. Best Marc
Is there a way to record using the IC-7610 microphone while the rig is connected via N1MM+, instead of having to use a USB microphone? I seem to remember doing that in the past but it has been several years. Thanks and 73! Tad, K3TD
Hmmm, I dont have the Audio tab in Config and the program doesn't respond to Shift-control and F1 to record. Im guessing mine is a newer version of N1MM and this functionality has gone???
I have two. One cheap one (no issues) off E-Bay and one Heil from Giga parts. The Heil required a adapter on the mic side (cheap fix). See the bottom of this page for links to them: www.k0pir.us/n1mm-logger-recording-and-saving-tx-messages-on-the-fly/
The 7300 will not receord a QSO and play it back over the air. Only your recorded audio can be played back over the air. See section 7 of the full manual for clarification. www.icom.co.jp/world/support/download/manual/pdf/IC-7300_ENG_CD_1.pdf

Your N1MM config includes a audio file. I wonder where that comes from as my config file doesn't show that window?

Tad Danley Thank you for commenting and thank you for watching the video. Under Config try Logger+ Audio.
Hi Rich, just a quick question, the ci-v cable, what port is it plugged into on the back of the 7300?
Cheers Trevor ZL1UTH
Hi Trevor. On the rear of the 7300 it is the remote port. It looks like a speaker or mic jack on a computer. 3.5mm in size. 73!
@@HamRadioAdventures Thanks, sorry for the duplicate question on other post, will test it out today
No problem Trevor. Happy to see the comments :-)
Are the wav files saved in the computer or in the voice recorder in the radio?
Hi Jonathan, that’s a good question. In this video recording on the fly, the audio is saved in the computer. Take care, good luck and good DX!
