That was a DIY video Luis! Excellent tips on getting those bearings in correctly! Looking forward to seeing more of how you build this engine! 💯🤟🏾👊🏾 Hitting it from the back!?!?! 😂😂
Awesome, you make it look super easy! Having the right tool looks like it helps too, the last time I did it I made one out of all thread and washers, really sketchy.
It may have been sketchy, but you made it work! Before I got this tool I tried doing the ones on my jeep with a bearing driver set 😂😂… the cam went in but it didn’t spin
Great video Brother! New cam bearings is a great start on your build. You made this look easy 😂 great explination, super pumped for this build Brother 👊💯🤟
Im pumped up too brother but I keep getting stalled!!! Random stuff too… like today I couldn’t finish assembling because I ordered regular 5 liter piston rings and it turns out sn95 uses metric and thinner sized rings 🤦♂️
You’ve done way more complicated stuff, cam bearings would be a walk in the park! Actually the reason I have the tool is because I had a machine shop done it once and they installed them wrong, so I chose the way of pain 😂 DIY
@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 Thanks for the compliment! Sucks that happened to you before. Looking forward to the rest of the build. It’s going to be awesome with those ported heads!
@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 heck yea man!!! I actually never thought the little motor I have in mine would have ran as good as it has been lol. Your engine will run really well also!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
If you got it right the first time, its because you got the magic touch Funky! 😂 I didn’t put any lube to drive the bearings in, but I did put some on the cam side when I tested it, someone scared me into believing the bearings would spin if you lube the backside 😮
@@funkystangs2843 it was on the actual bearings, engine assembly lube, I didn’t lube the cam, because it was the stock HO cam I was testing with lol… didn’t want to take a chance getting the steeda 19 that im running stuck on the bearings 😂😂👍

Hitting it from the back!?!?! 😂😂
Thats the only way to get that front bearing in 😂… at least for me because Ive driven them in crooked without using the alignment cone

@MrBlitzkrieg1987 damn, it's always something. But you just taught me something, you too are now wiser brother.
Great video!
Nice work Luis, thanks for sharing.
Nice and smooth!
I appreciate it Ed thank you for your support 😎👍
Gret job! This is one thing I never attempted to try. Except for hitting it in the back! 😂

@@jdrods1519 im happy even if it runs reliably for now 😂
@@MrBlitzkrieg1987 it’s a Ford brother!!! It will do just fine 💪🏼
Hittin it from the back🤣 No assembly lube? Dry insertion 🤣 yeah I thought it was a big deal until I did mine. Nothing to it
