I was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome at 15 years old. I was so upset that growth hormone wasn’t an option for me. They said that while I was physically still 12, my bones had still started to fuse. I won’t likely get taller than 4’10”. I wasn’t quite able to understand at first. This was really helpful in explaining in more detail what’s happened to my body! Thank you! 🤗😅
That’s so sad, 12 is when I started Lupron and 14 is when I started testosterone…I’m so sorry that your doctors weren’t able to make that your truth as well
Thanks. I don’t see much Turner syndrome stuff on my fyp! I currently take growth hormones! We’ve known I’ve had it since birth and I might not get any taller then an inch over a kindergartner! I hope this changes! I really love that there are videos spreading awareness about this!

Age is a factor at this point, isn't it? Chromosomes may have prevented pregnancy before, but now nobody your age can get pregnant. It's not grim. Change your attitude. Appreciate your blessings. Pregnancy is not a factor for anyone your age. Let it go. Stop acting like this is a problem. Focus on the goodness you have. Enjoy your freedom.
Just because you can’t be a biological mother doesn’t mean you can’t be a mom. What matters most to be a parent is love. I have turners too, and I remind myself of this a lot.
Is it possible to have partial/mosaic Turner where you develop breasts and have menstruation (though a VERY light one), but have pretty much every single other symptom? I was never diagnosed but after researching it it's pretty uncanny how even the less talked about symptoms (overformation of keloids, differently shaped palate, neurodivergence, short chubby fingers etc) apply to me. Only having breasts & menstruation makes me think it's probably not it. I just want to know if there is a possibility before I actually get some genetic testing done because unfortunately I am not in the position to do so at the moment for personal reasons, but I definitely feel like I should possibly look into it.
Well….I do have mosaic Turners and physically can’t ovulate or menstruate on my own….actually I probably can’t even ovulate because I likely have no eggs left and my ovaries are in terrible shape lol….but anyways I was told that some women with Mosaic Turners can have light cycles on their own but a fair number like me can’t at all
