In this video, I'm going over how I make over $30,000 each May and June as a graduation photographer. This is a particularly great niche of photography to get into because:
1. You get to meet a lot of people
2. It's seasonal
3. You can earn a good amount of money
As a grad photographer, you can easily make $100, $200, even $300 per hour. As long as your services are valuable and good, people will come to you.
I've done over 600 graduation shoots in my lifetime, over 100 a year. Since I specialize in graduation portraits, most of my photography I do in a year condenses into May and June, which is when most people are graduating.
As long as you are able to take good portraits, grad photography is a great way to make some extra income.
