Apart from a few features like AMOLED tech and mobile camera lenses with variable aperture, these Chinese companies have provided the mobile tech world with most of the other innovations. I personally think that the main force behind driving the mobile tech industry has been these Chinese companies.
They are always ahead of things ... the only thing i wish they didn't ignore are their cameras , they really need a better solution . Camera is the only drawbacks of chinese phones .
I prefer a pop-up camera to an ugly notch that makes people think that your carrying around an iPhone X knock off. I'm still kind of worried about how long the pop-up camera can last since it's a moving piece.

Can you plz tell me where did you get this information from??? I did a search and it showed that the price for the SD845 would be 9999RMB and i could not find any information about SD710...
To remove that chin they would need to use the foldable or bending version of amoled where they can bend the screen so that the mechanism would work, then it would cost the same as the S9+. There are advantages of both phones, I would still probably go with the S9+ because I think that I could get better support. The idea of the popup camera is good, I would need to wait to see how it last, but we would need to wait to see how good the camera is.

Roxor 17 The huge chin which (and isn't) you call haves a higher screen to body ratio than the iPhone X. The trick of Apple is to make all 4 sides of bezels equal so you don't notice it. Overall this phone looks better, and got 10% higher screen estate and that's a lot.

my Oneplus 3T lasts at least 3 days consistently with 3400mah, sometimes 4-5 days, so 4000mah on this should be adequate. Otherwise you can get the Mi Max 2 with 5300mah.

A huawei mate 10 pro or p20 pro will last you a day whatever you do because it has a 4000 mAh battery, a 1080p oled screen, aggressive background task management and a very efficient processor.
We can only hope of a battery technology breakthrough coming soon. It would take a number of considerations including chipsets being optimized for battery saving and being able to push as much pixels to the display without sacrificing much of the battery. It's achievable but we are yet to see phones lasting 2-3 days of screen on time, hope it comes soon though.

The Vivo is a very ambitious device and does make the Samsung look a little stale. If they could lose that bit of chin it would be 'killa' Vivo are definitely leading the way Samsung and indeed Apple take note!
blu prutee plenty of high end devices are electro mechanical and have moving parts. It's the way it's engineered that counts so it shouldn't be pre-judged!

sneakyjc it remains to be seen but various sources suggest Vivo have done a lot of engineering work on the pop up camera and it is supposed to withstand 50000 actuations!

The fact that this phone is being compared up against the Samsung S9 is a big win for Vivo. Good for them. The first in-screen FP sensor and now the first 90+% StB ratio.

You're one of my fav. youtubers....just want to know why you bash samsung soo much....ex: you said the speaker is in top 15% of the smartphones when in reality cnet, toms guide, android authority etc. said that it's got the best and most richest audio...and proved it with machines as well...
