Looks like they were ordered to ruin game sales, from some corporations, that are nothing like cd project red. In place of EA, or other predatory corporations, I would use any option, to ruin reputation of company, that cares about costumers, and makes great games, without loot boxes. I first noticed this a week ago when checking the comments for an epic store defender in reddit, and found that the same guy defending epic's decisions was criticizing anyone who pre-ordered Cyberpunk on the basis that pre-orders were an anti-consumer practice. I'm convinced these are all paid trolls and will make any logic jump and omit anything they can in order to disparage their competition.

If there is one thing i've learned in life, its that 95% of people are extremely unintelligent and immature. That's not to say they can't change, all i'm saying is that they would prefer to put themselves into a position that they feel represents them as 'good guys' rather than look at anything mildly controversial and actually analyze it with an open mind. Reality is so far from perfect and this game represents that, which is why Mike Pondsmith has made the world of cyberpunk the way he has. This is more thought provoking and creates more awareness than claiming his life's work is downright racist due to this imperfection. Grow the **** up journalists. If controversial works of art like this didn't exist, none of these 'journalists' would have any clue as to what racism or sexism even is. It is informative, and that will always be objectively true.

Gaming journalism was never journalism. google EGM, Gamer's Republic, Die Hard Game fan, and Game Pro. All of these publications paid or angled for cheat codes and exclusives, gamepro refused AS POLICY to rate a game lower than what was 70%, no matter how bad it was.

CDPR hear you loud and clear and have made the following changes:
- All guns removed
- The dialogue options have been completely revamped. Now all options are either complimenting someone or asking how they are feeling.
- All in game billboards/signs have been replaced with the words "EVERYTHING IS FINE"
- There is no night-time because the dark is scary
- The city now looks exactly like Mirror's Edge
- The setting has been changed to a world where all record of anything bad happening in history has been erased.
- The goal of the game is to give as many people hugs as you can. You can return to your base to cash in your hug score for pats on the back from all your woke colleagues.
- We considered a final boss who actually can say mean things and you had to complete quick-time events to put your fingers in your ears and say "lalalala I'm not listening" but found this to be too traumatic and so it was removed.
- All male characters in positions of authority have been DELETED.
- Bug Fixes.

right and i find it hilarious they say "whats wrong with everyone?" for pre-ordering the game, like seriously lol how many times have they shilled for other game publishers games to pre-order ridiculous content thats not worth the hike in price, let alone they usually end up giving that content away to everyone for free a few months or the 1st year after the games release, so its not even really a special pre-order content reward, its just a pre-order to get the content before everyone gets it for free with the base game ( -_-)

When you buy the standard edition (even after preorder) you will receive all the stuff that comes with it, that is also based on where you buy the game from, I would recommend Gog, simply because the funds for the pre order go straight to the people who are still tirelessly working on the game to make it as good as possible when it comes out.

Black Panther was literally made by Stan Lee as some of his African-American co-workers shared what their culture was about, and that’s how Black Panther came to be, Stan Lee didn’t claim the culture surrounding Black Panther, he just made the character based around the appreciation of African culture which is to say much more accurate that the lore surrounding Asgard in Marvel, since like a lot of people said, the Thor we saw in Marvel is not accurate to it’s origin.

Honestly, all the somewhat ok game journalists youtube channels and people I used to read/watch for decent game reviews have all just thrown away any and every form of respect from the people who will actually buy the games just to please the loudest "oppressed" people. People shitting on Call of Duty MW for being too realistic, and now Cyberpunk 2077 for being diverse, in the wrong way apparently. I'm just here like, yall couldn't trash the fact that they made BL3 exclusive on the Epic Game store, nah they were mostly alright with that, the only people who hated that were the PC players that used Steam since it has more user-friendly features. I only saw almost no news about that uproar of a mess, and it came from youtubers that like the game and that was about it.

Devs under EA, Activion, Ubisoft, etc. have lost my loyalty for obvious reasons. Ubisoft is making an effort but, I doubt it will ever be enough to win me back.
You should not preorder anything tbh. Its just one of those unnecessary things. Its the same to buy the product when its officially out, there is a difference tho if its cheaper when preordered or if you aim to get some limited time special items that only come with a preorder.

Man, I am so grateful I grew up before the internet. My parents taught me 'Keep your opinion for yourself.' and after I asked why they said that is is rude to push your opinion unasked into other peoples face. The only exception of the rule is when someone might be in danger when you not speak up or if someone specifically asks you for it.

There are too many snow flakes in 2019. If you don't like what a creator put in a game, simply don't play it. The world doesn't evolve around what you like. AS someone with over 100 hours in the game, there is not a single racist remark in 2077 AT ALL. Race is addressed and acknowledged, but nobody in the game calls anyone a racial slur or "refers to blacks as animals". The fact that they missed the fact that "Animals" in this sense refers to the beefed up boostergangers with giant bio-graft muscles who do whatever it takes to get stronger. And they are a mixed-race gang lol Not a single person says anything racist in the game. What matters in Cyberpunk is who you align yourself with, race is merely a categorization tool in it.

What makes you think CDPR, wouldn't stir up fake controversy in order to increase sales? I said this in another comment but why wouldn't CDPR pay gaming outlets to raise a stink about something when they know it will translate into more sales because more people will buy the game in order to spite these outlets? It's not really a convoluted idea, and if I can think of that in under 5 seconds, don't you think CDPR would have had that same idea? IDK, maybe it's because I'm getting into my 30's and I'm starting to see how the world actually works (money). But if you want, you can live in the world CDPR made for you with $60 being the price of admission.

I don't think it's necessary for CDPR to have paid RPS to manufacture a controversy.
Let's do a little logic game here. CDPR and RPS are both out to make money, and very smart (and ruthless) about how they go about it. And potential morality is out of the window in this hypothetical.
For the sake of simplicity, let's say that RPS manufacturing a controversy awards one 'coin' to each party. CDPR can pay RPS a 'coin' to make them manufacture outrage.
In this scenario, RPS is guaranteed to manufacture the outrage. They benefit from doing so. If they don't do it, they lose out - and since their goal is to make as many 'coins' as possible, they will not do anything that makes them lose out.
CDPR, in this game, has the advantage - RPS MUST make a move, and every time RPS will choose to act, because it benefits them. RPS doesn't care if CDPR makes money because of their action. As such, the only logical choice for RPS is to act and generate outrage. CDPR, on the other hand, can simply sit back and relax, knowing that they will benefit from the controversy without needing to pay RPS at all.
Put simply, RPS loses if they don't act, and because they don't want to lose, they will act - even if they aren't paid.

Naturally, this is a simple logic game, not a simulation of the complex scenario that's actually going on. But if RPS truly are heartless monsters they will manufacture the controversy regardless of pay, and CDPR can relax and enjoy the fireworks.
