That’s a great result considering it’s your first attempt! I too have been considering buying a bandsaw and trying to “master’ it as a new hobby now I’m retired. Are you happy with the 1950? Keep up the good work - will be good to see you grow! Stay safe.

Thanks for the sub. I did look at the record and I think they are basically the same. I went and looked at mine in my local Axminster store. I live 15 minutes away from Axminster so big plus for me is I can go there for help or to even put my hands on the tools . The guy said until recently they were all made in the same factory, they would just choose slightly different spec to, say other brands. He also said the company just vanished so they are sourcing new factories atm. I didn't look as much at the record as mine, But from what I've seen I'm sure you will be happy either way especially compared to the very budget saws!
