If you remember when Twisted Timbers was announced, people thought those 3 airtime hills would feel repetitive, that maybe they should have added an inversion or something. After riding it though, people were SOLD on the 3 ejector hills. I hope AlpenFury has the same effect from similar speculation.
People are too hung up on airtime. This layout looks super unique and awesome. Yes airtime is great but anyone that’s been on an RMC knows how a bunch of airtime hills feel like and I’m not looking for a new coaster to try to replicate that. @@naneunshoothoothoot What doesn't make sense is how Taylor was saying this park already has great airtime in other coasters, but then wants an airtime hill on this coaster like why? This coaster looks like it's nailing what it intends to do.
@@johncunningham1889 CW has loads of floater airtime in Leviathan and especially Behemoth but it doesn't have any true ejector airtime and a low to the ground launch coaster (which this coaster will be) is one of the best ways to get it. Behemoth used to give sustained ejector airtime on it's second camelback which for a period made it the best B&M hyper in the world imo but they added a trim to that 2nd camelback which completely kills the trains momentum and also removes some of its floater airtime later on in the course which is sad. I think the new coaster will still be great but I really hope Wonderlands next coaster brings something more ejector airtime focused because that's one of the main things the park will still be missing I think it would have been cool to have some included in this new coaster.
Finally a coaster that is unique and not just a copy and paste like Yukon Striker and Leviathan are. That top hat looks pretty awesome coming up through through the mountain into it. The only thing about this launch coaster is it doesn't use the square cube tracks like a lot of launch coasters use to zip you around super fast into turns, or barrel rolls. Due to the same thing over and over again and not cube tracks. It'll feel slower and more boring with more rides on it. A lot of this is due to limited space though at the park and I think they did an awesome job on it considering the lack of space and area they are having to put it. And it'll be another fun coaster to the park which is always awesome. They really should replace some of the really old coasters though with new ones that will offer up more options.
I find it funny how in your reaction video you said it’s cool how they didn’t go with traditional loop-like inversions (dive loop, cobra roll, immelmann, vertical loop etc), yet I feel like throwing a couple of those in the layout would make it feel far less repetitive than the constant barrel roll maneuvers on the return trip
I think the rolls will feel different enough to add variety and not feel repetitive. Like how the smiler has alot of inversions that look similar but feel different.
The double inversion after the turnaround reminds me of the Double Inverting Stall on Untamed or the Lagoon Roll on Cannibal. Based on the oddball forces you get during those elements, I think it'll be enough on AlpenFury to differentiate it from the subsequent back-to-back rolls.
That inverted top hat is so different than the one on Mr Freeze, its way more unique, as well as the trebleclef into a duve loop, it reminds me of Tiaga.
The fact that Premiers trains are hard to get in/out of has to be because of how smooth their coasters are. They prolly don’t want to sacrifice smoothness for seat comfort.
I'm kinda hoping there are some lighting packages in the tunnel...like a light blue lightning effect for ice then as you launch they turn orange or red for fire which is followed by the flame outside. The long term plan of Canadas Wonderland is to eventually tear down Flight Deck and Time Warp and the abandoned music concert venue next to them to build a coaster on that plot of land. So they didn't want to use that area for this.
honestly im happy with the length, though i agree, tear down flight deck and put in a gerstlauer eurofighter or something in that plot of land. As well as possibly rmc one of the wooden rollercoasters because they are just so rough.
Looks like a great coaster. An issue with the layout is that all of the inversions are pretty similar which is one of the biggest weaknesses of the smiler
I think steel curtain looks bette (I've ridden curtain not alpen obviously, so that's why I'm saying that), and steel curtain will feel like the more complete ride of the two, alpen is just roll, roll, roll, wait for it another roll, it doesn't appear to have any other elements, but steel curtain has more diverse inversions, and it also has some pretty great airtime too, so curtain will be the overall better ride of the two
Oh man I wish they had one big camelback to get some ejector and it would have been perfect. But oh well maybe they'll RMC wild beast in the future to check the ejector box.
When i first watched the onride I was thinking it's a Vekoma or Intamin coaster. Was a little disappointed when it said Premier at the end. But of course they deserve a shot, I just really hope they update the trains.
When I hear you complaining about the lack of airtime on the return track, I hear in your voice how you must have liked Voltrons return run and tried hard not to spoil anything before the Viltron analysis is out 😂
I'll be the first to say this. I bet the lineup for Alpen fury will be tunneled under the mountain. The entrance to the line will be through the big wooden door on the Northeast side of the mountain, behind the waterfall. Right now this door has the Alpen fury logo on it. The theming through the line will tell the story as you embark through the depths of the mountain. How cool would that be??
I think rcdb might say that this ride has 7 inversions bc the first element after the launch doesn’t fully un-invert before rolling over (same story for the element after the inverted treble clef)
@CoasterStudios Yep, which will make AlpenFury the coaster with the most inversions in North America, 4th most inversions in the world, and will hold the record for most inversions on a launched coaster in the world!
Medevil theme is levithen and is near the front with all the medevil theme so Idk why u said in 1:44 theres no theme there is im a candain n I have been to wonderland for ages.bethom is in the back with cyloths, yukon striker is added to the canadian theme arena when they didnt really fricked up..
My only complaints are the colour and the name. It would have been cool to stay in line with names like Behemoth and Leviathan. Naming it 'Titan' or something.
Still dissapointed in CW as my home park :( we deserve some ejector. Also, I have a high tolerance for roughness so I'd much rather a slightly rattly intamin with comfortable trains than this. Overall though, still excited to ride.
I named that inverted top hat already. It's called the Volcano Roll. If they don't call it that then the curse of Volcano the Blast coaster will rear it's ugly head. Would be a shame to have to tear down another mountain. Don't risk it Canada's Wonderland. lol
The point about ejector airtime is exactly what I was afraid of would be missing from this ride. Also, on the point about the park having 3 substantial drops, we don't have a beyond vertical drop. What I was hoping for on this ride was a vertical drop, an outer bank, a stall, and plenty of ejector (Even just 2 of those things would've been satisfying). It only has the stall and maybe a little ejector at the end as far as we can tell. Maybe the inversions will feel forceful though? If they have lots of floater during them, that would be at least fill that gap in the park's lineup.

So sick.
This is the kind of thing I wanted to see replace Volcano at Kings Dominion :(
It would be cool if they blasted AC in the tunnel, so you feel the cold then the warm sun. Adding to the experience of the ride.
I cannot believe how INCREDIBLE this looks and sounds! Wow....hopefully it will not disappoint!
Richard
6:44 This element reminds me Batman Gotham City Escape , and its going upside down :)
This is a great video
For what I saw, I paused the animation and it has lap bars and no comfort collars.
Still a horrible train
Amusement insiders confirmed with Grace from Canadas Wonderland no comfort collars straight lap bars
@@First-Drop-Studios still a ride your probably not getting 💀
@@Chessingtondragonfury huh?
We have 4 rides on wonder mountain now!
I think steel curtain looks bette (I've ridden curtain not alpen obviously, so that's why I'm saying that), and steel curtain will feel like the more complete ride of the two, alpen is just roll, roll, roll, wait for it another roll, it doesn't appear to have any other elements, but steel curtain has more diverse inversions, and it also has some pretty great airtime too, so curtain will be the overall better ride of the two
I agree Steel Curtain has more diverse elements, but I do think this looks to have a better pace and more punchier moments than Steel Curtain
At least coaster would probably be more reliable than Steel Curtain
Oh man I wish they had one big camelback to get some ejector and it would have been perfect. But oh well maybe they'll RMC wild beast in the future to check the ejector box.
“The only other company that does steel launch coasters as smooth as Premier is Vekoma” -

😛
I said what I said
@@CoasterStudios 😮🫢
When i first watched the onride I was thinking it's a Vekoma or Intamin coaster. Was a little disappointed when it said Premier at the end. But of course they deserve a shot, I just really hope they update the trains.
This one has the same trains as full throttle
Anyone else notice time warp isn’t in the animation?
“No ejector airtime hill😭😭😭👶”
When I hear you complaining about the lack of airtime on the return track, I hear in your voice how you must have liked Voltrons return run and tried hard not to spoil anything before the Viltron analysis is out 😂
Voltrons return run is no joke. On-Ride reaction coming soon!
First element kinda reminds me of Untamed’s double inverting stall
I'll be the first to say this. I bet the lineup for Alpen fury will be tunneled under the mountain. The entrance to the line will be through the big wooden door on the Northeast side of the mountain, behind the waterfall. Right now this door has the Alpen fury logo on it. The theming through the line will tell the story as you embark through the depths of the mountain. How cool would that be??
No more "The Big 3" you can now call it "The Fantastic 4"
Why not add just one more inversion to get the NA record?
I think rcdb might say that this ride has 7 inversions bc the first element after the launch doesn’t fully un-invert before rolling over (same story for the element after the inverted treble clef)
RCDB says 9 inversions.
@@CoasterStudios right now but they might change their mind like they did with steel curtain, Maxx force, and untamed
RMC needs to come in and convert Wilde Beast with ejector air and extend the layout to the go carts.
EXACTLY!!! Someone gets it
so excited
Cedar fair /six flags back at it again
Thank god its not b and m. Layout looks insane.
I named that inverted top hat already. It's called the Volcano Roll. If they don't call it that then the curse of Volcano the Blast coaster will rear it's ugly head. Would be a shame to have to tear down another mountain. Don't risk it Canada's Wonderland. lol
Will this be the best Premier? Will this be Premier's Velocicoaster? Will it be in your top 25 or top 50? We'll know next year! =)
Who else is EXCITED!?
So pumped
"Do a barrel roll!"
I thought this was someone’s NL2 creation. I didn’t think it was real
we got wonder mountain lore before gta 6🙏😭
