This is so cool! I don't know if I will ever get out to some of the cool museums you go to so I really appreciate you giving us these tours.
Your excitement and appreciation for movie and Hollywood history really set these videos apart from others out there.
Grimm Life Collective videos are like great friends sharing their passion with you. 🧡🖤
Good point! It's like the rest of us get to tag along with your video visits as if we were at the museum too.
I work here! Glad you enjoyed. We’re beginning a gallery rotation next week and have some great objects in the vault that will be on display. Come back soon and check it out!
I love when you guys do videos like this, it makes me go, this place is cool I wanna go there.
This video was SO cool, thanks for taking us along!
This is such an excellent video. I had to actually pause it to leave a comment about the music and the overall vibe. Your production is really getting to be something. Very casual and polished at the same time. Love your content. J, from Texas.
So awesome! Thanks for sharing! I love your channel!
Rain no problem for the Grimlifecolective! Oh we sure appreciate you Mike & Jessica. You create the best most intriguing experience on UA-cam & that's a fact! We actually feel the chills watching at times! Appreciate your efforts Guys Luv&Peace 💛✌🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much for the tour :)!
I love everything movie and these tours are great to watch and learn.
Looking forward to another great year of your shows :)!

Yet another amazing video Happy New year to you both
You and Jessica are the best thank-you for going to these locations and showing us these fabulous videos you and Jessica are a true star love you both no one can ever bet you/s to you are the best thanks michael
This was awesome!! Absolutely loved it!! I need to visit as well!
I will never get enough of this channel!!
Ok ,this was such a great episode ! First off great nostalgia for me because I used to work in that building when it was the May Co department store. Then one of my favorite things is movie costumes. Truly historic. Love them all. Well done.
So cool! Thanks for sharing!
Your camera work as always is outstanding!
Once again I will like to thank you guys for taking us places I know I may never make it. Iam 65 , living in Chicago. This was one of my favorites. Cool 😎.
Awesome can’t wait to check out the Video thanks Grimmlifecollective 👏🏻❤️
Wowww!!
Thank you! I've always been obsessed with old Hollywood... sadly it's not like it used to be! It may never be again. I'm so happy this place is there to remind us of the greats!👍🥰🖤🎥🎬🎭🎫
Thank you again, Michael, for your life and passion for video storytelling and taking people with you on your travels to amazing and interesting places. 👍
Another place on my list of visits to LA hopefully this year when i can cross over in my rowing boat . Incidentally I only live a few miles away Leytonstone where Hitchock was born but I don't go down there as many 'Birds' fly around there lol. Excellent video again from Michael/Jessica as expected
Awesome work !
Such a cool place! Thanks Michael!
I would love to see videos of the whole museum. I will never get there, but I love movie history. Thank you for your hard work.
Thanks for sharing all this wonderful material!
So much cool stuff so I can't pick what I adore the most...Bruce Lee, The Godfather, and Edward creative hands...Damn....thank you for showing me
Great Vid Grimmlove! Glad You went! We went last Summer for the first time! Love it! The Godfather Desk and Chair is actually held at Coppola Winery in Geyserville, they brought it down for this exhibit! Happy Halloween🔥✨🖐🏻
Thank you for still finding awesome things to show us. I can't believe it is three years, it feels like you just moved there. Happy Halloween!
So much to see it's all super amazing
Thanks for showing this incredible place. Wish I could see that one day. 🥰
I did think of Jessica when you was looking at the dark crystal stuff
Can you imagine how miserably hot Gary Oldman must have been, having to wear such an elaborate and heavy costume (and cumbersome matching boots!)? It looked quilted onscreen, but the footage you shared shows the magic of filmmaking even in wardrobes. And the Donnie Darko suit! This museum looks like a fantastic addition to Hollywood. Thanks for sharing! 🧟♀️🎃
Definitely now on my bucket list to go see this now! Incredible!
I live in Cal and it has rained so much. The next time I go to LA I wouldn’t mind going here at all. Movie magic is extremely interesting to me and I love seeing how directors move their way through making movies look the way they want while also making it look good
Sort of next door to LACMA ( museum of art ) on Wilshire Blvd., the street lamps art installation at the end is near the art museum.
This was great! This is right up my alley! Thanks for showing this.
Again I say thank you for taking us along with you on this great adventure. Hope Jessica is doing well. Happy Halloween
Wow! That place definitely needs more visits!!! The movie costumes, the sets, the movie memorabilia..... Yes please!!👍👍👍
Another location to add to my bucket list. My sister would love to see the Rosebud sled and anything Star Wars in person.
This content should be *required* viewing for generations of aspiring art directors and location scouts everywhere. Greetings from Los Angeles *Twizzle approved*
Cheers
This was a great video, my friend. I would love to go back to L.A. and go here. I haven't been there since the 90's and this museum wasn't even built then. Would love we to see more on North by Northwest. I am a huge Cary Grant fan and also love all things Hitchcock. Thank you for all you do. It is appreciated. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
Best channel on UA-cam..... Everytime i get a notification, that one of your videos is ready.
I get a little bit like a kid at christmas eve....
Freaking awesome video... Again.
Best wishes from a Danish fan.
This video is chalk full of nostalgia for me. I definitely have to visit that place.
That was amazing, I absolutely love museums, especially, museums of history, that was great Micheal, great job, as always 💯🙏🏼🖤
Thank you so much for this!!! I don’t know when I’ll be able to visit, especially since Covid devastated my finances, so this made me so happy! 💜💜💜 You’re the best! 🎉
Loved the dark crystal as a kid, so cool. Thank you
I’m on the other side of the coast but, as a Kubrick fan, seeing the suit from 2001 was AMAZING! Thank you for this vids!
Wow the museum is amazing and thanks so much for sharing some of its highlights.
Thanks Michael you make it possible for people like me who live on the other side of the planet to see things. You and Jessica Rock 🤟
Omg that museum looks amazing, thanks for sharing. I would definitely love to go there one day. I love movies!
That view in the theatre looks amazing, I'd find it hard to focus on a performance there with that view, lol!
Rain is ok with you two behind the camera. I want to go here so bad. Bucket list I'm 61. Thank you

That's an amazing museum. If I ever get out to Cali I will have to try to get there.
The Rosebud sledge is owned by Steven Spielberg who donated it to the museum

There's a foot of snow outside my window right now that definitely has me California dreaming, thanks for posting. 🎃👍
Ok that piece is definitely my favorite, nope now that piece is.. 🤣
Thank you for another grimm adventure to an awesome place and thanks for the quick glimpse into the history movies in film🔥🔥👍🏻👍🏻
I love how you explain the history and give great detail in your videos. Thank you
MAN, I COULD SPEND DAYS AT THIS PLACE. THEY NEED TO HAVE A SECTION DEDICATED TO HORROR, NO QUESTIONING THAT. ANOTHER GREAT ADVENTURE INTO SOME HOLLYWOOD HISTORY....GREAT VIDEO
Was interesting to watch! Just subscribed to your channel! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Enjoy your week! Take care!
What a cool place! Great video!✌️
Excellent video man, I unfortunately couldn't convince my exhausted wife to visit the museum when we were in LA so it's great to see this, we did visit the gift shop however where I bought some awesome silhouette pictures of Jason voorhees, Michael myers and Beetlejuice.

Wow watching your video’s have to take a trip to check it out love movies .
Happy New Year!!!
I love these kinds of videos that you two create. Well, all of your videos are amazing but there’s just something so magical about seeing such Hollywood movie props and costumes. 😎
Donnie Darko’s suit gave me thrills 🤣 They have a crazy selection of movie costumes and props!
Jessica is probably going to cry when she sees the characters from Labyrinth.
Bruce is the fourth and only surviving version of the shark model "derived from the original Jaws mold," according to the museum. It originally had tenure at Universal Studios Hollywood until 1990, when it moved to the Adlen Brothers Auto Wrecking firm in Sun Valley, California. The business closed in 2016 and owner Nathan Adlen donated the shark to the Academy Museum. It has since undergone a 7-month restoration
Amazing video! Thank you Michael
This was very interesting and cool getting to see all this things from the movies from back along time ago to you to now....loved your video and enjoyed Michael ty and happy Halloween!. 💕

Bruce Lee's costume and numb chucks pretty cool that's freaking awesome

1:40 Is this the former site of Neiman-Marcus on Wilshire Blvd.? Sure looks like it. 🤔
This is great i would spend all day at this museum. thanks for sharing !
I would LOVE to go here! Thanks for the Grimm tour!
Very cool. I grew up watching black and white films. All the great films from early Hollywood. Thank you for this. Hope you and Jessica are well and dry, 😂
Hello autumn people, just wanted to say how much I would like to travel around the world. Which seems overwhelming. Man, you’ve managed to travel ALL AROUND the usa !
Sincerely- spooky stuff is my soul food. Thank you for keeping me nourished !! One day,, I’ll go and see these places too (:
Wow thank you for showing me this museum! 😃🤘🏻
I hate to admit it, but I didn't know this museum existed. It's an amazing place!! I LOVE those story boards from "The Birds" and the Jack Skellington heads! 😍😍 Thank you for a bit of a sneak peak of the museum, Michael! Happy...Halloween! 🖤🧡✋🏼
North By Northwest has Mount Rushmore! Awesome!
Thank you for your talents, hard work & content...appreciate you taking us with you!!! Happy Halloween 💀👻🤖
I'm ashamed to say that I live about a mile from there and I never knew this museum existed. My life has become so narrow. Thanks for this video. I'm gonna check it out.
Great video !!! I can’t wait to visit it myself and if you can maybe check out johnnies cafe across the street sometime 😃😃
Not a working restaurant, the owners kept it the same & rent it for film shoots. Had a cup of coffee there once in the late 90's. It shut down in 2000.
that is a great museum, and a great idea that you had to explore it, while dealing with the current inclement weather that you're state is now enduring (hope all is well)... My favorite part of this episode is Alfred Hitchcock's Screen play artifact of, "the Birds"----- LOVE the rendering of the story boards of the time! Thanks, for making it it SO real, again, GriMMs.... :^)""""""""""""""
Great video
Wow that was awesome video! This is blowing my mind lol because I never seen and been to this museum before. There’s a lot of my favorite costumes and screen used. Thank you for sharing this video Michael I really enjoyed it and you made my day.😊🎃🎥❤️
