When you cut the footpegs frame you can adjust the spline so you don't have to do big adjustments on the threads

Hi, I'm looking for a lower foot pegs for T7 and see your video and the Johannes's, and I don't know which is the best option for me, put ones that only lower the pegs, or ones that that lower and with back offset. 🤔 I read a comment somewhere that a 30mm it's too low and make the adjustment of shift and brake leavers difficult, the best option is a down 20mm. Now, from this point (20mm lower) a back offset it's needed? Thanks

I have tried a -20 offset to the back and I disliked it. Uncomfortable while sitting because the leg sits too far back, its more difficult to reach the levers which mid corner upsets the balance of the bike when lifting the foot off the peg. The only benefit is a minimally improved and more stable standing position, but if you do not ride offroad more than 50% of the time, I think its not worth it. Hope this helps!

How low are they and what is the off set..are they 30mm lower and 20mm back? im 6,7 and I just got the t7, im thinking about getting some lower foot pegs instead of measing with bar risers. Thanks for the videos!

The ones I have on at the moment are lowered by 20mm.
I have tried the ones that are 20mm offset to the rear and lowered by 30mm and I did not like them at all. While standing they were alright, but the shift and brake levers were too far for my taste, despite being 6,6. While sitting the leg position was too far back which made it uncomfortable and inconvenient to shift or brake. If the peg is too low you will have a hard time adjusting the shift lever to your liking since it has limited adjustability.
My suggestion to you is, get the lowered -20mm pegs, and rotate the bars. Do not buy the bar raisers because they will make the situation worse. Check the video Bret Tacks made on this topic.

Better than OEM for sure. A video about that is coming soon. 😄
