We take a look at Reefer trailer construction methods, and why trailers built using a mandrel foam method are more durable and thermal efficient than those built by panel construction.
With Utility Trailer's construction method, the trailer's wearband isn't fastened to the sidewall with rivets or fasteners, but is held in place by welds along the attachment to the floor, as well as with stub posts within the foam wall itself. This protects the connection location from damage as is shown in the Great Dane trailer.
