Pretty fun board! It sounded great. Is there a ton of "value" in terms of features? No. Can you get a TKL cheaper? Yes, you can find tons of cheaper boards. But if you like the look and sound of this one, you will probably be very happy.

Is there a ton of "value" in terms of features? No. Can you get a TKL cheaper? Yes, you can find tons of cheaper boards like the Neo80, Gem80 and Luminkey TKL. But if you like the look and sound of this one, you will probably be very happy.
Remember to be finically responsible when it comes to your purchases and never go broke over hobbies. Things come and go, even if you miss something today, something more fun will pop up in the future.
Was expecting the price to be $600, but $369 is not bad at all
You can’t compare the sound to neo80. It’s has a unikorn, Kohaku level spacebar imo.
Not for me but love to see another great TKL option for the community

What is the frosted keyboard from the beginning of the vid (and up top all the time) called? Looks slick
5:54 No lie, these days I’m just so tired of dealing with hotswap sockets that I’d rather pay more for a soldered PCB plus mill max. More durable, more layout support, don’t have to worry about the pins separating or how much of a pain it is to desolder / resolder kailh style hotswap sockets.
I really wish they did not put the engraving on the front like that

Alex, what do you type when you do your type test? I have noticed that you type usually the same thing...
Its gibberish on repeat.
DO you lube your Nixies or leave it unlubed? I find lubing it mutes the sounds and makes it sound deeper, but less poppy.
fat bezels + that purple look amazing.
for that price I expect the board to come with a carrying case tho. the fancy packaging is too impractical once you're done building.

seems most people really like smaller bezels, and I seem to be in the minority of loving thicc ahh bezels haha!
I love thick big bezels, but also love thin side bezels and chunky top and bottom ones.

Yeah you are right this new version of the kailh sockets is quite annoying, the older version it was easier to solder!

Those sharp hotswap sockets are really annoying. They are indeed very sharp.
I have PVD on one board, and that’s enough

CF plate and hmx switches sounds good depends on your preference. Much prefer the neo design and the way you assemble the board is slick.
ya the build is easy on neo, but sound doesnt come close to albatross. Spacebar for example sounds much better on albatross
This is just me... But a plastic (edited: its actually aluminum my bad) TKL for around $350? At this time where you can get an aluminum one for like ... Around 150.. i dont know man .... I looks good though so...
This is not plastic it’s aluminum!
The Cycle8 is coming, probably around 200 USD and awesome colors. That's the TKL to get.
