A great place to visit! The wife and I ended up visiting it kind of by accident. We were visiting the Eiffel Tower in the late 1980's and didn't get down fast enough to get back on our tour bus. We ended up visiting the Army Museum then walking from there to the Opera to meet back with the bus to go home in the evening. Kind of glad it happened. We ended up seeing a lot more of Paris and I think it left a better impression of the city on me. It was kind of fun for a few years after that when ever we would see some sit com that would go to Paris. We would flashback and remember walking on the same street or across the same bridge.
I went there during a HS trip, in 2004. We had a free day (from pre-scheduled) actives and Senorita (my Spanish teacher! LOL We went to Spain, next, after 3 days in France, she took us to the Museum., as their were enough of us who wanted to go, especially, because of Napoleon's tomb. I'm really glad we did!
Mr Myrtle no freakn way....ok ill go look again. did it look like he was a small man ? didn't know his uniforms still existed. only some furniture. wow thanks
@ a lot of museum are totaly free in france. So much that we have to pay for preserv all the others. We all know that tourists want to see only some of them. So they are the one you need to pay

It was about €12 if you are over 18. Under 18 is free admission.
