What a co-incidence that you are using Gorilla poly glue. I saw someone use it on UA-cam to bond metal and was amazed to find that water is recomended on one surface to activate the glue. I have been creating a 'fairy trail' in my local park but have been struggling to adhere fairy doors, mushrooms and other carvings in the obviously damp conditions. Another problem was gluing in metal spikes to the bottom of my first chainsaw carvings to make them stand up on the uneven ground. I made a couple of pieces only a week ago for my daugthers garden and used this glue very successfully. It's very gratifying to see the pro's using the same methods. 👍
