@@wgabriel my two complaints and the reason I completely quit G Shocks 1). Unnecessary things on the display that reduce the size of the readout numbers or a display flow that is confounded. 2) World time, I have on a few occasions bumped the world time feature and had the watch reading an incorrect time and in my career that is completely unacceptable and creates a false record. People that spend $75 on a Casio generally aren’t constantly circling the globe traveling and so if they were, they could just set the time like everyone else. World time is probably the most unnecessary function in the history of watch design.
I agree they’re lightweight cheap watches that are way overpriced. I was letting my daughter throw mine in the pool then dive for it and the hands stopped working
Only “dive” watch I’ve gotten to give up the ghost through what I’d call normal wear and tear. Broke my heart as a kid…..then I got a seiko, and faith was restored
Sea-dweller43 50th anniversary and done. Robust extreme water resistance, anti magnetic, accurate mvement, quick adjust bracelet, excellent lume. Can be worn on any occasion!
This list is just 1 pick that's a Gshock and 9 other picks that should've been Gshocks. Who's beating up a 17,000 Panerai?? All jokes aside (I'm a gshock fanboy) this is a great list. That Victorinox with the carbon fiber case is rad, as is that Ball watch.
G Shock and Promaster both rock and ridiculously good value for money. Marathon is nice but boy is it expensive 😮. The Panerai is just awesome with a corresponding price.
I have a login es Hydroconquest GMT and wanted a military type watch and recently got a British watch maker called Stirling watches. Well worth taking a look at and supports British Vets with all purchase. Worth a shout out.
You just missed the "Desk Diver" by Christopher Ward. For the person at the office that needs a 300m diver for everyday use. It even came with paperclips and pencils when you bought it.
Casio showed itself very well in the war against Russia. My AE1500 and gshock's are a great choice for extreme conditions. The only thing I recommend is a digital display.
Glad to see that only a handful of these watches feature mechanical movements because, let's be honest, mechanical movements just don't measure up to quartz when it comes to "toughness" or durability. Not one of those "tough" mechanical watches could continue to function if put through impacts and abuse that most $50 quartz watches just shrug off.
Thanks for another fun video! Great picks. Small piece of feedback if you're interested, try to avoid repeating "largely" or any other particular phrase more than a couple times in the same video. If you find ways to mix it up, you'll bump up the professional quality of your presentation that extra little bit. Just something to think about. Rock on!
La montre victorinox m’intéresse mais quelle est votre tour de poignet svp ? Moi c’est un peu plus de 19 cm donc assez petit pour me donner une idée par rapport à vous
1st) Tudor - Design 2nd) Panerai - Style 3rd) Ball - Classy 4th) Citizen - Value G-Shocks are durable, but hideous designs. Couldn’t pay me to wear their oversized plastic pieces. Honestly would not take a G-Shock for free … they look like cereal box toys.
Love Sinn! We had one on the guide but we had to nix it due to some logistical issues. I’m sure we’ll be revisiting this category again in the future 🤙
It depends on the use and type of carbon fiber. I have a carbon fiber pool cue shaft that I have accidentally dropped and slammed against shit constantly. No chips or anything.
For me, carbon fiber has proven to be super tough for how light it is. My carbon mountain bike has survived more than its fair share of crashes with no damage, and my carbon knife scales have been nearly instructible.
@@robbbbery yeah. I have a Kershaw knife with carbon scales and it's almost indestructible. I have an Ibis Ripley carbon Mountain bike, but it's my first year with it. I hope it holds up well. So far Carbon has done me right.
You went on and on about the size of the Panerai. As a down side. Yet it was mid size in this line up. WTF?? The g shock is comically huge at 57.5 × 53.4 × 18.4 mm. Yet you highlighted its size as a positive. Part of the what gives it is durability. LOL Clown
A Ralf Tech 'The Beast' should surely be in this list. Screw in strap bars, 6mm dome Sapphire crystal and a ridiculous 3000m water resistance. 11 years of autonomy through a hybrid quartz movement. 😛🏴☠️
this entire video could've realistically been just 10 different G-shock watches but I learned about some new watch companies from this video, thanks.

Citizen Promaster tough got to be in the list too!
@@gallic_gunner I have a Promaster Tough. Great watch! 👍🏼
Yes, I would have included the Citizen Promaster line….excellent value.
@@Rob954everMe too I bought mine 20 years ago still one of my favourite watches .
Yeah got the Ray Mears. Titanium. Tough simple.
Luminox has ABSOLUTELY no business in this conversation. Junk watch, basic Swiss-parts 1-jewel quartz crap movements and junk assembly.
Never seen or got one. Are they really that bad?
My 12 year luminox still working. Change battery 3x, change broken rubber strap.
I agree they’re lightweight cheap watches that are way overpriced. I was letting my daughter throw mine in the pool then dive for it and the hands stopped working
Luminox is the watch of Navy seals

Iv owned the original Seiko Arnie since 1987. Still works today! Never been serviced once.tough as hell!
Agreed. Got a dead one in my drawer.
Casio Duro is one of the hardest wearing watches
Casio DURO
G Shock GWG Mudmaster is the toughest watch or the classic DW 5600 with bull bars.
The Casio mrw 200 is a practically indestructible $20 watch as well as the Casio Mdv 106 "Duro".
Your Marathon is about due for a battery...
Awesome list!
Sea-dweller43 50th anniversary and done. Robust extreme water resistance, anti magnetic, accurate mvement, quick adjust bracelet, excellent lume. Can be worn on any occasion!
I have that specific Arnie. I wear it on a two piece Zulu strap. I find it much more comfortable in our scorching Florida sun. Great video, guys! 😎👍🏼
I have a French elastic strap on my mini Arnie, it's comfortable. :)

You should adjust the strap on the Bertucci so the buckle is centered on your wrist.

We were just talking about this watch at the office last week. Such a fun concept 🔥
It's the Marathon SAR series for me. I like the MSAR in Arctic for my small wrist and the build quality is awesome.
I bought the GA700UC for 50 USD.
One of my favorite watches in my collection. And I have frozen and boiled my watch in hot water.
Great list! I’d add Muhle SAR rescue timer, any Damasko and any teg Sinn. German brands seem to make ridiculously tough watches
Great video, thanks! I can confirm that the built quality of the Victorinox carbon watch is great.

I need a tough watch for my work, such that I’m able to see the time with seconds, date, day of the week with a quick glance
Any recommendations?
Casio Mrw 200. It has a lot of color and dial choices for $20.
No team guys wear Luminox.
Great video. Thanks for making me want JOMW… the LUMINOX!!!!❤

Where is the victorinox inox professional diver??😮😮
when I first got into watches I kind of snuffed at Luminox, but actually they go kinda hard
If we say for everyday use..i prefers quartz watches...
Garmin 'Gshock' Instinct ❤
One of the toughest and coolest watches is by SēL Instuments. Look at their Omnidiver MK1, MK2 and Xos.
What a list! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Good selection but would of liked to see a Garmin Instinct 2 or Fenix in the list , they are worn by many Army people i know.
These look tough but the Casio MRW-200H is the real winner
Thank you
Great vid
Greatvideo
Heard some bad stories about Pam CF case being not as robust as expected but looks nice anyway
My mate wears his panerai on a building site and he says it's the toughest watch he had ever had.
Casio f91w❤
Good stuff. TY
Protek watches are nice too.
Sinn U1 should be on this list.
That Marathon needs a battery change... 😉
sinn, damasko, gshock and garmin.
The ball is amazingly surprising !
the panerai is AMAZING!
Sinn U1 fully tegimented. Nothing close.
Shame you couldn't change the battery in the Marathon before filming...
Not sure how these are the toughest watches? Just a list of watches in a vid.
Why would you use a $20K watch as an every day carry watch?
Because you can. The question is, why WOULDN’T you?
@@seanm3226 risk of getting my hand chopped off by thugs ,thank you and of course when g shocks exists why should I

Casio! There is nothing better and tougher! Also good price! If it's break you can buy a new!
So G-Shock is the Jason Voorhees of watches…
Cambia la pila al Marathon!
Fantastic collection !
Elliot brown holton should have been on this list.
100% agree!
That Tudor & Ball would break ..
Sinn UX
What about lum tec, made in Ohio, I wonder how good they are..?
1st) Tudor - Design
2nd) Panerai - Style
3rd) Ball - Classy
4th) Citizen - Value
G-Shocks are durable, but hideous designs. Couldn’t pay me to wear their oversized plastic pieces. Honestly would not take a G-Shock for free … they look like cereal box toys.

Bertucci 😂 I swapped this channel right away

As much as I like the arnie, I wont call it a tough watch (unfortunalety).

No Sinn, no Damasko? Come on..
10 G Shocks
