Hey Pete……love the commentary when you ride. I really like the sound of this machine, the hood contours and the colour are really nice. You’ve changed from she climbs to no problemo…..love it!!!
Do you miss an ATV? I am thinking of getting an ATV, but also keeping my Defender XMR. Some areas in Alberta restrict the weight to 1000 lbs and oddly enough restrict winter riding to the same weight. We are heading on a backcountry camping trip here soon, so the Defender shines for that type of riding.
GoPro 11 mounted to the chin of guard. Yes I miss a ATV, motorcycle and other things. It's part of getting old to move on to other forms of enjoyment. With my age and skill level I'm best in a sxs. The African twin engine and tranni is almost like riding a cycle through the woods. Thank you for asking be safe.
@Marauder Mitchelli when comparing rzr xp pro to your talon is the noise in cab from engine and transmission louder in one machine over the other and is cab heat from engine/transmission/radiator worse in one machine versus the other?
They are 2 different class machines, RZR Pro I would say Performance Sport, Talon Sport. The RZR Pro due to the CVT transmission is probably on average 1500 rpm higher plus the very loud air noise from the cvt air box. The RZR Pro exhaust is louder than the talon. The RZR Pro cab is so so hot. One ride with my wife she was in agony...very hot not sure why. The Talon is much quieter due to the gears, and computer upshifted it runs the trail at a lower rpm, no air noise as it does not have a cvt tranni and the cockpit is so much cooler. Now both are great machines, the RZR Pro will beat the Talon every time, but for me the Talon at my age is much more enjoyable ride...very calm and very well engineered. It really depends on what you like...and prefer. I hope this answer helps you.
Jonathon the RZR Pro is a power monster...but at my age I do prefer the Talon. I'm just not a go fast guy anymore. Then power of the Talon is enough for me. Great question thank you.
You sir are a Mud-rauder. Thanks for the upload looks like fun. Love the Honda and hope I have one under the tree this next Christmas.
Joe I hope you have a Merry Christmas. Great machine you'll like it be safe.
