Ok, this is driving me crazy because I seem to be the only person who has figured this out, but here goes. If you want to drag a loop from Logic's loop library to a sampler or Drum Machine Designer in the track header, you are not limited by just audio loops. You can drag literally anything from the loop library into the track header. Anything includes midi loops, Session Player loops, and Pattern loops. Not just audio loops. Any of those loops will be treated exactly the same as a raw audio loops and you can drop them into any of the samplers or Drum Machine Designer and then work whatever magic you can think of. This opens up more creativity since you can use anything in the loop library. So go ahead and drag say a pattern, midi or Session player loop into the rack header and see what happens. Drums, piano, organ, synth etc, anything!
Thanks playboy
The way this is the only video that finally gave it to me straight clear and all the different options all at once and under 10 minutes. Thank you Seid. ☺️
Other so called instructional UA-camrs could really learn a lot from your tutorials! Not wordy, simple, and explanatory! You're awesome!
your advice has been life saving as a novice producer. it's tough finding production tutorials that are more advanced than how to create a new track in your DAW but less complicated than advanced mixing techniques. your content hits the perfect medium of not assuming the audience knows advanced music theory, but has opened a DAW before. thanks for all the help 🙏
I agree. UA-cam is full of Logic Pro tutorials, many of them made by people who clearly know the software inside out, but as a teacher myself, (I teach English as a foreign language) there is a vast difference between knowing something, and having the ability to teach it. Most Logic Pro instructors on UA-cam have a very deep knowledge of the software, but have no idea how to teach it. It's all "Press this, turn this, choose that" without giving the viewer any idea as to what they're doing, why they're doing it or what it actually does. Seids has the great ability not only to show and explain to you what things do, but also shows you things you never even thought about, but are incredibly useful know.
This is what I love about your videos. I just came here to get some tips on how to make basic drum loops, and I come away with infinitely more knowledge and options that I had no idea was even possible to do in Logic. Great stuff. ❤
GURL !!!!! YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Phenomenal example share. Provided more content in 7 minutes them some channel's give in 1/2 hour. I've been with Logic for a while now and you showed me some new things. Fantastic work.

@@SEIDS_that’s why I still use Logic after incorporating other DAW(s) to my workflow. Cuz of them drumzzz. 🤙🏼

Great video, thanks
THANK YOU for this ive been struggling with logic for some reason its just so confusing for me but Im so determined to make music
I just wanted to say that I appreciate you!
I think starting in 10.8 you don't have to convert drummer/session player regions to MIDI first anymore, you can just open them in the piano roll now. Awesome video, I definately picked up a few tips and tricks as well.
This is gold!
Thank you!
OMG thank you so much !
Awesome tips!
thank you so much!
great content great advice
thank you!
Awesome ❤❤❤
Need more then 24 hours in a day with all the possiblity, thanks for our work :)
Playing in the drums is always better for that natural swing however I don't have a problem using drum loop.
love it
Thank you! But how to I keep the audio loop from changing the tempo of the project?
Great video, Seids! Thank you very much, it’s very helpful. I have a question. Personally, I find it comfortable to edit the drums in audio, meaning kick on a kick audio track, snare on a snare audio track, and so on. If I want to create a more creative workflow by working on my drums in MIDI with a drum pattern in Drum Designer as you showed, all the channels I have are under one MIDI track and I can't route each sample to its own audio track, except by doing it manually and slowly, which is annoying. Do you know if there is a more efficient way to do this?
What if you want to use crazy 808s or specific type of drum sounds? Can you add that there ? And how
Great
Thank you guys sooo fucking much Jesus. I jus bout this midi controller and had no idea how to use it, now I have a small idea
WOW!!
why step sequencer is not depict in the section below when I press P?
How do you get the drum beat to match the song beat? Ive imported stems that were recorded by somebody else so i dont know the bpm - big thanks!!
And these fades your doing like in studio one I tried grabbing the corner of the clip but no fade ! I’m using a track pad is that the issue? You go way too fast to absorb the stuff you’re doing anyway but these things aren’t working. So I’ll I’ll disregard this lesson too😖
Can you cut up and edit beats that you program yourself in the same way you edited that loop? I've been wrestling with getting interesting drum tracks at home. I don't like using premade loops so I usually program beats. I just can't seem to make them glitch and/or interesting in Logic. It's a user issue. I definitely know something new. I'll have to watch this a dozen times to grasp it fully.
Nice
Your knowledge and smile are equally intimidating. :) Thank you so much for your awesome content and your hard work!
good video
thank you!
The “Fill amount” seems to only work with electronic drummers. Am I missing something?
Whose motorcycle is this?
It's a chopper, baby.
Whose chopper is this?
It's Zed's.
Who's Zed?
Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
❤
YEA!! :-)
thank you!
how to conjugate drum and bass and make adjustments?
hey! what do you mean?
@@SEIDS_ I am a novice for 6 yrs in logicpro and I dont know how to start. Music flows in my ears but really hard to put those rhythms bass and vocals in reality. I really appreciate fast tips like these videos.
In logic 11, u can create a simple percussion track manually and then make session player drummer “follow” the percussion track
@@임채령-x8c ah ok I will work on a an easy bass video next week!
Hi friends Seids I want to Record my Song in your Studio 🎙️ please Reply how it's done ✅
❤❤❤you
Please show some videos to create drums from direct composition, not from the loops
Personally I think the session drummer is a lot easier and more functional. Once I set my drum track using the session player, I then swap the plugin to my eze drummer to get that more genuine live feel.
incredible, also your music is way too good to be using for tutorial demo music
Lol. Thumbnail lama. Did you know?
My thumbnail is a an honorific title applied to a spiritual leader in Tibetan Buddhism, whether a reincarnate lama (such as the Dalai Lama) or one who has earned the title in life.... no I didn't not know that. lol
Wow! you are good. Love it! ☘☘☘
thank you!
I haven’t found a single drop down that say anything about converting audio to midi . If it’s only available via short cuts or key commands that sucks🫤
