    I just found a new Spoonk mat at Goodwill for $1.64!!! I was so excited because I remembered you posting about it - it's even pink like yours. Can't wait to try it out :)

    I have been using my accupressure mat for 2yrs now and I love it! It's uncomfortable in the beginning but you will get used to it. My back back are so tight especially on the right side. This mat helps me fall asleep, and I use it when I travel especially on the plane. This is really helpful for me.

    I love that you find all these great natural solutions to health. My husband was irregular and we bought a squatting potty. Then I had already bought some essential oils before your channel but you educated me alot. I oil pull now almost everyday and I am planning to get a rebounder,tongue scraper and I guess it's called a "spooking" Matt now as well. Keep the videos coming :))) They are changing both my life and my husbands!!!!

    I love it. It really works. I feel even the thinnest shirt doesn't really allow to experience the true spoonk effect though, so I love to do it bare skin as well. I treat it almost like a yoga session with the lights dimmed.. it helps me concentrate on areas that need more pressure. I highly recommend it for people with stiff neck and shoulder too. Try raising both arms in the air or place them in a self hug pose to allow the shoulder area to be fully grasped by the matt :) thats what I like to do at least.

    Amazing post Ashley! I've had a spoonk for about two years and I love it. I use it whenever I have time. I started using it before I go to bed and I use to have the first to phases as you described last a while. But now within 5-10 im passed out and don't even realize I'm on it I usually wake up an hour or two later and take it off.

      ***** That's awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience. I agree, that over time you seem to tolerate it more than when you first tried it. ( :

    I've had my Spoonk for 4 years. I normally use it in bed with my back bare. It's amazing how it relaxes you. I normally fall asleep when on it. Take it off once I wake up. LOVE IT

    Hey Ashley, aka "Spoonkmeister"! Just wanted to check in and let y'all know my experience with the "Bed of Nails" here that I purchased at Ashley's suggestion.
    Well, I had immediate results. I received the mat around 2 pm this past Friday and tried it out right away.
    OUCH! It initially hurt quite a bit and I wondered, "What the hell have I gotten myself into here?" But, I laid on it (bare skin) for about an hour without any outside stimulus, such as radio/TV. When I removed the mat, I fell into the deepest, most restful sleep that I've had for several years. I woke up 9 hours later just around midnight without waking up once. Rock solid sleep.
    I was quite amazed that my sleep wasn't broken up by the usual pain, etc. (I have painful spine issues). Ashley, I kept sayin' to myself, " This is totally outrageous!"
    Outrageous in a good way because it's a self help tool that I've added to my arsenal for better preventative health.
    But, I must add that the initial pain of lying on the mat has waned and is now quite comfortable and beneficial. Thank you Ashley! for bringing this to my (our) attention!

      "Spoonkmeister"! That's hilarious! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Spoonk! I hope others can connect with your experience and be more willing to give Spoonking a try. ( :

    Thanks Ashley, you've convinced me. I saw one of these a few months ago, but I wasn't sure about it. Just went on amazon to order one along with a new duel head percussion massager. I use that type of massager to break up the knots and muscle spasms. It's quite a bit stronger than a regular vibrator.
    Sheesh, I'm sitting here in a serious pain flare-up this morning. (Degenerated spine/fibromyalgia). I'm glad you posted this suggestion! It picked me up.
    I myself have been living the "green(er)" life for about 2 1/2 years. Became REALLY ill from the Standard American Diet (SAD) which led me to seek out ways I could help myself. All the MD's offered me were drugs and surgery which made me even sicker.
    So, organic nutrition, key supplements, exercise such as Tai Chi, High Intensity Interval Training, Yoga stretching (see PsycheTruth on Utube) and a deeper relationship with God. My health has radically changed in such a short time. For example, 60 lbs lost, radically improved blood work & I was able to ditch six (6) meds. Still need pain meds for this bad spine. We're workin' on it, though.
    May I suggest a couple health promoting things that are probably obvious to your subscribers? They are Genetically Modified Organisms (Foods) & Water filtration. I found a very economical way to filter both my shower & drinking water. (We actually absorb through our skin, as well as, breath in more toxins in the shower than by water we drink). Well, I went to:
    www.aquasana.com/
    and bought a sink counter top filter that works great! It attaches to the spout and the cost to filter drinking water is about 11 cents/gallon. I also bought a really effective shower head filter. They carry different types of filters, but for me this made the most sense.

    BTW Ashley, I have on order my Organic Arrowroot & Aluminum free Baking soda for the deodorant you showed us how to make. I always have coconut oil on hand. I love it in my green smoothies, too.
    If you read down this far, thanks and Stay Green!! It's THE best way!

      Ashley's Green Life I Just Wanted To Tell You That It Has Improved My Sleep Immensely. I've Used It Probably 3 Nights. I Always Fall Asleep On It Like You With A Bare Back. First Night I Slept On It Too Long & It Sped Up My Heart Rate. No Worries Though I'll Just Be More Mindful To Not Stay On It Longer Than It Suggests 45 Minutes. I'm Excited To See What Else It Improves. Thank You So Very Much. I'm Going To Tell People About This. I'll Send Them A Link To Your Video So You Can Do The Explaining 😋😃 & It'll Bring Them To Your Channel Too. 😉 I Really Appreciate Your Time That You Take In Making All These Wonderful Helpful Videos. Happy Holidays! 🤗🌺❤🕉✨

    I've noticed it really hurts after the 30mins, when I'm trying to sit up and remove the mat. Ill have thousands of little dots and a very red back. Any tips on how to sit up alone and not have enormous pain? (I've tried rolling off to the side also-didnt work)

    • @AshleysConsciousLife
      @AshleysConsciousLife  10 років тому

      Hmmm...if I've been on it too long and try to get up it hurts a bit too, but never an enormous amount of pain. My back has the dots and gets really red, but not that much pain. I wonder if you need to wear a thin t-shirt to cut down on it?

    I use regular toothpaste because it tastes better but does it matter if its homemade or not??? I use crest and its a pretty trusted brand so I think it's good at least, I'm obviously not living nearly as a green life as you are hardly at all actually but I still really like watching your videos!!! +Ashly'sGreenLife

    • @AshleysConsciousLife
      @AshleysConsciousLife  10 років тому

      The benefit of going with homemade is that you can control the ingredients, so if you want to avoid chemicals in standard toothpaste you could skip it and make your own. If you are interested here's one of the recipes I've used: How to Make Your Own Toothpaste
