Under Ice Muskrat Trapping!! Baited sets.

In this video I show how to set under ice baited sets around muskrat huts and push ups. These are effective sets and I have been catching lots of muskrats this year on the federal part of the marsh where unfortunately I am not allowed to make videos. This is a great refresher for me, I haven't been able to go out in a couple of winters now and this gets me excited to go back out again. You're good enough at this to teach someone like me--a lot older than you!
I use a hatchet to cut my holes, which helps me to keep some of the chunks of ice and float them on top of the trap instead of throwing snow on top. You might consider doing something like that, it also might be lighter than the spud you're using.

I stopped using the Bridger 150 because the set traps are way to sensitive for me

Yes they are really sensitive. My dad gets his hand a lot. I like the medium size of them though.
