I feel that plant milks is one of those things that proves that people have extremely different taste preferences. I love hazelnut milk btw It's good that we have so much varierty to choose from so there's something for everyone ^.^
Hey Ashley your such an inspiration! I am 50 y and went vegan 3 months ago. Love your funny personality and your sense of humor. The video were ypu cooked banana 'pulled pork' and 'Grapefruit chicken' was so entertaining. Your a very good vegan lifestyle ambassador (intelligent, funny, warmhearted, open mind and undogmatic) not only for young people. All the best from Switzerland Marcel
I'm surprised anyone would dislike it, the taste is so neutral. All the nut-based milks have a very strong aftertaste by comparison. I like oat milk too, but it tastes a lot like oats. Rice milk doesn't even really taste like rice, kind of just tastes like... milk.
So I have been lactose intolerant for my whole life and my favorite milk is the Silk brand vanilla in the blue bottle Got to try it Ashley!!!! Please like if you agree!!!
Didn't realize how many options there were... also the avocado milk threw me off a little ngl haha Thanks for making this video tho, it was fun to watch!
I prefer oat milk too. I love that all these new ones keep appearing, but I always go back to oat. I get what you mean about it being sweet though, but I often make my own if putting it into something savoury and it seems less sweet that way.
I feel the same way about soy milk. It is not my favorite because it has such a tofu-y taste, but I always buy it for smoothies bc of the nutrition. Almond for normal cooking because it’s the most neutral and affordable.
My personal favorite is Trader Joe’s brand of oat milk! I’ve tried the pacific brand and I honestly hated that one. But the Trader Joe’s one is Soo good!! And for chocolate milk almond breeze is my fave :)
Thanks for making this video!! Silk Almond milk is my go to because of versatility, calories and price. Oat milk is my favorite hands down, I only get it occasionally as a treat. 💛❤️
Almond breeze almond milk and silk soy milk are my favs! I tend to stick to almond milk tho since I eat a lot of soybeans and tofu! I’ve always wanted to try the Elmhurst brand of plant mills but I can’t justify the price 😅😅
Additionally, a Swedish brand recently came out with potato milk! Don’t know when it will be in a U.S. supermarket but the company (DUG) does sell on Amazon.
for soy milk, i get the natures promise original!!! and it’s affordable and tastes like icecream - i used to be a die hard oatly fan but this one is just *chefs kiss*
The Almond Breeze banana milk is actually just almond milk with bananas blended into it, so it's more like a flavored almond milk than it is like a banana milk. That's a big part of the difference. Banana milk is typically made with green bananas, so it's not typically very sweet or strongly flavored
I recently saw barley milk, but I haven't tried it yet! (Imperfect Foods has the three trees brand for a lower price when it's within 2 months of the expiration date (like the ones expiring in June and July are on sale for $4-5 now. I definitely want to try some of their milks since you said it was so creamy!)
That's so interesting!!! Love it! Avocado Milk??? Like what??? I live in Germany and we almost have the same plant milks! But we also have Millet or spelt milk for example! Fun fact: we're not allowed to say plant MILK because the word milk is "exclusively" for cows milk, so it's plant D drink for us😂
I actually love the ripple pea milk 😂😂😂 haven’t tried oat milk yet but want to soon! I’ve tried almond milk but wasn’t the biggest fan. Soy milk has been a big fave of mine but trying to branch out and try other milks bc I’ve heard too much soy is bad for your skin 🙃
@@kristy5492 is the Costco one fortified where you live? I was disappointed I didn't realize until after I bought it that it isn't fortified with calcium like my usual plant milks.
she says in the video she has tried ripple and thought it was disgusting. I think I have heard the same fron another youtuber, I think it was Swayze from the channel Unnatural Vegan.
to be honest, i dont like drinking milk (any kind) so i always make hazelnut milk to use in smoothies, recipes etc. (my aunt sends me a kilo of hazelnuts every year)
flax milk is so underrated i never see anyone talk about it. it's literally my fav :')
AHHH that’s one i totally forgot about!! i love it
And it’s the most sustainable!! It doesn’t cause the soil to lose its nutrients and less water needed #goodkarma
I actually didn't like flax :/
I was literally about to say the same thing
@@ashleywicka and pea milk its sooooo creamy and so good for a iced coffee or hot chocolate xx

Soy milk is good for making pancakes it makes them taste really good and curtles for a buttermilk with apple cider vinegar and vanilla
yessss that is so true
So true! I always use soy milk to Curtle w ACV whenever I make pancakes or muffins/banana bread!
dude ur so cute in this vid :’)❤️
🥺🥺 bae
omggg she commented 💕
@@ashleywicka ily btw
I feel like Macadamia milk is so underrated. I love it!!!!
Really I think it’s so watery
Macadamia milk is amazing for smoothies.
Tastes like marshmellows!
ripple pea protein milk is my favorite - they also make delicious chocolate milk
The vanilla one is my FAV

Please do a part 2! Maybe try different flavors? I’d love to see you try the Silk Ultra that has like 20g of protein
I tried the chocolate I love it
I got an Almond Cow and now I make my own plant milks. It's amazing!
silk will always be a fav of mine
WAIT I KINDA NEEDED THIS THO LOLOL
I HOPE ITS HELPFUL
my favorite is the silk almond and cashew milk with pea protein! it has even more protein than soy milk but it tastes 10x better!
I was literally about to type out rice milk and then you said it sucks lol! 😭I love rice milk haha.
I'm surprised anyone would dislike it, the taste is so neutral. All the nut-based milks have a very strong aftertaste by comparison.

same hahah
Same
I got quinoa milk when I was living in Switzerland and it’s SO good
whattttt i’ve gotta get my hands on it
I have been so curious since I literally only drink almond milk so thank you!😂
I'm addicted to strawberry-banana milk and chocolate banana milk, both fat free and are sooo amazing!
There's also flax milk and pea milk, which my sister really loves the chocolate pea milk by ripple
You should do trying crazy plant milk flavors!!
can you do this with plant yogurts because I tried some that I found but they were pretty expense and didn't taste great
YES YES YES i’m writing that down. vegan yogurt is so hit or miss i think that’ll be such a helpful vid
6:29. Ashely has a very cute expression as she reads the ingredients list!!
my first plant milk (from over 20 years ago was rice milk, agrees it was yuck, but was glad it existed)
my personal fav plant based milk is the vanilla ripple milk it tastes amazing in pancakes and biscuits and coffee, basically everything ☺️
yes THANKYOU. Ripple Vanilla milk is so good!
I love Ripple milk it is less than one gr sugar and less than one carb made from pea protein
So I have been lactose intolerant for my whole life and my favorite milk is the
Silk brand vanilla in the blue bottle
Got to try it Ashley!!!!
Please like if you agree!!!
Didn't realize how many options there were... also the avocado milk threw me off a little ngl haha

please do one of these for vegan yogurt!! ik plain kite hill is your favorite but i would still love to hear your opinion on others
omg i normally don’t even drink any type of plant milk but I def wanna watch this-
also the lineup is so satisfying to look at 😩
- honeypot films
My top two favorites: Oatly (naturally) and Silk brand unsweetened, unflavored original soy milk.
I prefer oat milk too. I love that all these new ones keep appearing, but I always go back to oat. I get what you mean about it being sweet though, but I often make my own if putting it into something savoury and it seems less sweet that way.

I'm not vegan, yet I love vegan alternatives
SAMEE
I’ve never tasted them but I’m sure they’re delicious.
Me too.
try the vanilla soy milk from costco! It is so so good!! :)
Do you happen to know which one tasted similar almost kind of identical to regular dairy milk? Thank you.
Yay I needed this (: thanks ash! But I like rice milk grrrrr 😢💞
Additionally, a Swedish brand recently came out with potato milk! Don’t know when it will be in a U.S. supermarket but the company (DUG) does sell on Amazon.
If you didn’t know there’s also walnut milk! And also sesame seed milk! They are pretty delish
I like the almond cashew blend ( Almond Breeze brand I believe). Thanks Ashley! You were very brave. 💕from Ky.
oh yes i love that one!!!!
I think Silk milks tend to be more processed than the Pacific ones. And I think that's why they tend to taste better :)
for soy milk, i get the natures promise original!!! and it’s affordable and tastes like icecream - i used to be a die hard oatly fan but this one is just *chefs kiss*
Do a vegan yogurt taste test! I've had a hard time finding one that I like.
Soy and Oat milk wins! I used to like almond but that’s only because that’s the only kind I have had before. ;)
also the chocolate banana almond milk boxes from Costco are so good
I just now went to the grocery store this helped so much!

my personal favorite is actually pea milk. the only brand that i know of is ripple, but in my opinion it is the most similar to regular milk :)
we also have milk made from peas which tastes like nothing so its great for baking or sum when you dont want flavor
yay i've been waiting for this video
Hazelnut is so good and I can even drink it on its own
Yum! This looks delicious 💚🌱 thanks for reviewing
I really like spelt milk and millet milk. Easy to make at home and really nice and creamy
You should try the Silk protein nutmilk. It's high in protein, but it has the almond and cashew milk flavor.
The ice cream vid sounds good especially since I tried almondmilk ice cream and my mom thought it was too thick and filling.
Flax milk... One of my friends said that's their fav... Also i love hemp milk, but i buy a different brand and it Sweet.... Love ur video
Ok crazy because avocado ice cream is so good!!!🤩
That's so interesting!!! Love it! Avocado Milk??? Like what???

Hello Ashley! Have you ever heard of Vejii? If so. Can you do a Vejii haul and tell us what you think about it??
Omg I need to try these, I’ve only had oat, almond, coconut, cashew, and soy I’m wondering where the peanut milks are lol
You could try making it yourself! I just got a nut milk bag and I'm planning on testing out peanut milk
I’m surprised you don’t like peas milk it SOOO GOOOD
ooooo great video idea!! This was entertaining and helpful!! THANK YOU 😘😘😘
Could you try peanut milk? It wouod be interesting to know how well it works.
I love oat milk, I tried almond and wasn't my favorite but oat milk is my go to
Besides rice milk you also missed flax milk, pecan milk, pistachio milk, walnut milk, sunflower seed milk, water lily seed milk, pumpkin seed milk, sesame seed milk, quinoa milk, barley milk, pea milk, chickpea milk, lupin milk, potato milk, tiger nut milk, tiger nut milk, brazil nut milk, pili nut milk, chia seed milk, cantaloupe seed milk, millet milk, spelt milk, lentil milk, mung bean milk, sweet potato milk, casava milk, and algae milk
walnut milk is also so good
I think the different plant based ice cream would be good
For almond milk, personally I love the Mooala vanilla one much more than all Silk almond milks!
Do you should make banana milk at home, because it is a lot better than store bought. But other than that oat milk is the best
Flax milk! I like pea protein milk too, honestly. I think Ripple just isn’t necessarily the best brand for it
My favorites are almond cashew and macadamia
Spilling the tea on rice milk hahaha
You should try the high protein soy milk by silk
Sorry for another late comment, I would recommend you to do a taste test of different vegan protein shakes like ones from OWYN, Ripple, Evolve, etc.
Yes Oat milk is my favorite
What about pea milk? Could you try that one
i have before and i’m not a fan!
she says in the video she has tried ripple and thought it was disgusting. I think I have heard the same fron another youtuber, I think it was Swayze from the channel Unnatural Vegan.
there’s a peanut milk thatd i’d be interested to know ur opinion on ! i’m allergic to peanuts so i can’t do that but IM SO CURIOUS🤧
ahh omg i need to try! what brand?:)
I really like chocolate Ripple!
Oatly oat milk is my favorite!
love it Thank you ASHLEY
theres also rice, pea and flax milk
I just tried the banana milk, but it was so not sweet enough for me. I agree that the Almond Breeze one is way better.
I’ve seen walnut milk before
ASHLEY PLEASE TRY MAKING VEGAN FRIED MILK!!! 😄
Califia Almond milk is the best. PERIOD
Yes Califia is the best!!

Did you ever try Chestnut and Walnut Milk?
You need to try Ades soy milk, is so yummy!
damn no rice milk 🥲 the only plant milk i drink 🥲🥲
