Yeah, Pau's intense...
Beto Ramos is not only Pau's drum teacher, but also a pro musician in the band Jumbo and he did the audio mix for this concert. Quite the renaissance man.
Paulina (Pau) drums and vocals, also known as: "a 5 foot stick of dynamite that is always lit" !!!
Narcisista is so full of attitude, rightfully so. This band was accused, by critics, of betraying their culture by writing and singing their songs in English. In every interview and many live performances, they are sure to let you know they are Mexican. They are true ambassadors to Mexico .

Pau taunts “Criticize me a little more, I find myself entertained.”
There have been 4 performances of this song where they bring out a guest drummer and allow Pau to go to the front of the stage and sing. The first time was at their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert in 2022 when Beto Ramos (Pau's drum teacher) filled in. Later in 2022 during the last two shows they opened for Halestorm, Arejay Hale sat in with them, and one other time in 2023 when Cachi (their usual guitar/bass tech who is actually a drummer by trade) filled in.

This song came in response to criticism for making songs in English. What the critics did not understand is how The Warning are unofficial ambassadors. I have seen people from reactors to commentors from all over the world who are learning more about Mexico now because of The Warning, and I was inspired to start learning Spanish. 🤘😎
I love the little drum solo break they do on this performance to give Beto Ramos a moment to shine. Really awesome.

Beto Ramos, her mentor, also did the audio production and editing for the videos from the Teatro Concert. Talented guy who is well respected as a Rock drummer in Mexico. I love how during these two concerts at Teatro they invited people who were instrumental in their development as musicians to join them on stage at this prestigious venue as a sort of expression of their gratitude. I've heard that this part of the stage show was barelt choreographed - mainly Pau improvising her role as lead front woman. Ale and Dany were concerned about inadvertently colliding with her, so they restricted their movements to accommodate whatever Pau was doing. Hey, it worked perfectly. There is a part of the show that you can almost see when Pau leans forward toward the crowd. A fan shot viwo from a different angle caotures what she is doing. The fan reached yp for her with half of the heart gesture they use a lot and Pau completed the heart for the fan.

Lightning in a bottle. Pau unleashes the full measure of her sass with that much energy after destroying her drums for an hour and a half. Beto is a BEAST on the kit and I'm glad they worked out a spot for him to blow things up a bit.
I love how Pau just brings a smile to everyone's face! Actually, they all do. My favorite sister varies from moment to moment. Even "quiet" Ale is incredibly charismatic on stage.
I've said before; Pau is a nuclear reactor without control rods.

I understood about every sixth word. I took Spanish as a sophomore in high school about 62 years ago and haven't used it since. I'm really surprised how much I understand. But I love this song and the singer. Pau is amazing.

Indeed, firecracker !! The best live performance from Pau (Dust to Dust comes close...). The song, the lyrics, the voice, the performance, the body language - the way she moves on stage, the energy cannot be topped. You have to be really really fit to move like this, almost like a dance performance on top. Pau was my favourite member at the start, but Dani has unfortunately put a spell on me :-) I am totally addicted. I saw them live 4 weeks ago, and had a VIP space right in front of Dani, in front of the stage, and what she does during a concert is outrageous. Kudos to all of them, my favourite band.
Thanks again for another reaction! This one was dedicated to all the haters for calling them “malinchistas” that in Mexico means cultural betrayer for singing in English. This was their first song in Spanish by the way 😅

Apparently they all got on stage together for the last song and it was a brand new collaboration song. Haven't heard it yet, rumor is there's an instagram post from a TW crew member with some or all of it. Probably bad quality so I'll wait for the official release.

After singing and playing for nearly an hour and a half at 7300 feet, then to sprint around the stage, I'm surprised Pau can talk little alone sing her guts out.
If you love their harmonies, you HAVE to react to Revenant in that same show!!! They played with their cousin and it´s a Pau´s song. I´m pretty sure you´re going to be amazed!!
Not really their cousin, he just has the same last name. Not related at all but they call him "primo" or cousin for fun.
But it'sa great song to listen to. Pau's vocal will melt your heart. Great tune, especially from this show.

This song is fantastic, Pau composed it as a response to all the Hate they were given from their own country criticizing them for singing in English and not in Spanish, they spoke things that were not true just to discredit them, and Pau in response brings out Narcisista where he unloads and tells them that they don't care what they think of them and that they keep talking badly that it amuses her. 😂

DPA/TW have guest musicians join them on stage for a song from time to time... in this case the guest drummer, Beto Ramos, is one of Pau's drum coaches... Beto was also the sound mixer and sound master for this concert... he and Pablo González Sarre (see below) were also members of the band _Los Claxons_ , a Mexican pop rock band from DPA/TW's hometown of Monterrey, Mexico...
some other guest musicians have been:
- Pliego Villarreal (no relation to DPA but they do call him cousin and/or Primo)
- Pablo González Sarre (Ale's bass coach and band mentor)
- Arejay Hale ( _Halestorm_ drummer)
- Barry Stock ( _Three Days Grace_ lead guitar)
DPA/TW have also shared the stage with other bands like _Moderatto_ , a Mexican "'80s Glam Metal" parody band from Mexico City and _Eruca Sativa_ , an Argentine alternative rock band...

Maybe a word that could describe Pau besides "creative" is "Fierce"
Dany, as the frontwoman of the band, gets to “act” a bit, and she obviously has fun with it, but Pau is the one who’s been recorded grinning like a maniac while pounding on those drums (“Hell You Call a Dream”), or breaking out in tears while playing the piano (“Breathe”). And this song…you think it’s bad having Taylor Swift or Alannis Morissette write a song about you, Paulina Villarreal will absolutely destroy you lyrically, and have a big smile on her face while doing it.
