@@GISChops Jeff! It was awesome running into you. I was floored by the camaraderie and positive energy from everyone I met; including yourself. Let’s stay in touch!
Yes! Would love to meet up with you. I’m usually in the tech workshops. I’ll hang out in the area with the tables north of the map gallery during this break. Hit me with a DM in Instagram to setup a specific time and place.
@@GISChops I looked out for you all conference but no luck. Who would have thought with 14,000 people around. 😂 Do not use Twitter or Instagram. Just signed up for the interview. Hope you are having a good conference.
If you are looking for different GIS paths I think mine has been interesting. When I stepped into my position in 2014 I got our organization going from Arcview to ArcMap to ArcPro. I know most of your videos have been Pro based but what is your experience with more of the online products such as AGOL, Fieldmaps, or Survey123?
Good old ArcView. I cut my teeth on the OG ArcView. In 2014 ArcView had to have been the basic license level of ArcGIS Desktop, right? I have quite a bit of experience with AGOL and Survey123. Not much with FieldMaps.
I’m working on a post conference video. Finding time while trying to get caught up on things has been tough. 😁 it was a great conference, it was good to be back in person.
@@GISChops I heard it was good. We get to go on a rotating schedule and I'm looking forward to my turn. To be with that many people, and to have so many learning opportunities seems great
Would love to meet up with you out there! My GIS journey might be interesting to hear about.
That would be awesome! Keep an eye on my community page or Instagram/Twitter feeds, or DM me and we will set up a time to meet.
Thank you for all the tips
You are very welcome! Be sure to check out my other videos as well.
Great tips! Thnak you! meet you there!
Looking forward to being there again. Keep an eye on my community posts here on YT, and my twitter/Instagram feeds to see where I am.
Sounds like it's going to be a good time! Thanks for all the tips!!
Thanks Alex!
I'll stay on the look out!
Thanks for the tips 🙏
Hope to see you there!
I’m glad we ran into each other!

I’ll be working at the conference. I hope to meet you there!
So you’ll be wearing a red lanyard? Are you doing a technical workshop?
@@GISChops , I’ll be assisting, along with others, with several tasks. We should have name tags, so look for me :)
See you there... hopefully. Had a good time during the interview. I would love to meet you in person.
That would be cool!

I’ve got a shirt for you!
Awesome! I hope I run into at the conference!

Will you be in San Diego?
That is literally what I’ll be doing at my job, but with ArcMap to Pro. I could use some pointers!
Funny that we saw each other the first day I was here, and took the same class!
Just want to drop line and say nice to meet you at UC!…… I forgot to show you that I’m a Sub! Catch you next year :)
It was great to meet you as well! It looked like you were pretty busy, I think I saw you one other time, but you were in a hurry.
Do you have anything to share now that the conference has come and gone? How was it this year?

Let me know when it’s your turn.
I lost my project too! It crashed and then it was gone. Luckily our IT department recovered it from the previous day and I was back in business.
Glad there were no long term problems. Still a pain though.
I'll go one day.
It’s a great conference in a great location.
THREE DOT OH
Three dot DOH!
Three dot OH NO!
I really can’t bag on it too much, I haven’t done much with it. I plan on doing a deep dive tomorrow.
