If you watched blue lock you should know this already, its way better to work on the talent you have, if speed is ur talent then work on ur speed the most, dont do stuff that will tamper with it (getting bigger muscles etc), ofc work with ur fundamentals but u should focus on improving ur strengths, (jumping, shooting, speed, physical, dribbling, football iq, off the ball movement) etc
A lot of people in the comments are missing his point, and are getting annoyed that he had something critical to say about how hard work relates to success. He's not saying that hard work isn't important. He's saying that hard work alone isn't enough if it isn't focused in the right areas. A player who can figure out the most effective skills and ways of training and then do focused work in those areas will obviously get better results than a player who works harder but isn't focused on the right areas for effective improvement. Hard work alone doesn't always equate to success, and hard work that is focused on the right areas to maximise results is superior to hard work in general without knowing exactly where to focus your efforts. The point is that it's results that matter rather than effort itself. So, before you waste time and effort working hard on things that don't produce results, you should try to identify where best to focus to maximise results with the least amount of effort. Then once you know this you can focus all your efforts, and work hard on the key areas that will produce the results that you want. TLDR Hard work alone does not always equal success. Work needs to be focused on the areas that produce maximal results for the least amount of effort. Hard focused work in these key areas that produce maximal results is superior to general hard work that isn't specifically focused on things that maximise results.
talent beats hard work. but hard work beats talent if talent dont do the work as much as the hard worker. the point is there is always someone better than you period. also talent and hard work beats someone who wasnt meant to be or just doesnt have it
As I already it's about playing the game Game With focus whole and don't do anything outside your body and mind will mold to the game and you become great. If u Just cut down The game doing gym ' come drills s etc you will never reach Anywhere You just become good at Gym and cone drills

Man, you gotta review what you say again. Nothing can replace hardwork. All successful people have one big factor- hardwork. You won’t land into success without hardwork. Tell your theory to Cristiano or Messi, they will laugh at you. Hardwork, of course is not the only thing to success, but surely one big factor to success.
@Emiliano-ce8wm True. Most young players would give anything to have a career like R9. 2 World Cups, 2 Copa Americas, 2 La Liga titles, 1 UEFA cup, 2 UEFA supercups, 6 domestic cups, 3 FIFA men's best player, 2 Ballon D'ors, 6 league golden boots, and 2 World Cup golden boots. He was the best player in World for a few years and is now a multimillionaire. Most can only dream of such things.
This is a false dichotomy. It’s not either drill or play the game (Work hard or play). It was likely the type of drills weren’t advancing or weren’t targeting your personal weaknesses any more. Study deliberate practice and the research around it. (Book: Talent is Overrated) The best path to mastery is a mix of deliberately practicing key concepts (hard work on drills) + performing the skills when needed (play the game). Many people have found that doing cone dribbling drills helped them have more ball control during a match. But once your dribbling is at a high enough quality, doing more of the same drills means your hard work isn’t focused on the right skill in that moment. Although there were certainly some kids who were better at the game than you - there were also likely many kids who only played the game and never advanced. They didn’t get the ball enough and never got better and maybe even quit - so you never met them. Had they worked hard and done solo practice maybe they would have persisted and improved. TLDR: you need both hard work practice and play
what? No most kids who are better at the game than the trained people, play football for fun. and examples of people like that are brazillians. they played for fun. and want to go pro at a later stage when they are already just insanely good at football.. im pretty sure no brazillian wonderkid has trained hours of cones before 💀. yeah solo practicing makes you better but more than that playing the actual god damn game makes you better. please stop talking utter nonesense. in no world out there does training alone yield better results than playing the game. you can HONE your already good abilities like shooting and passing by training alone, but you first need to unlock those abilities by playing the game, so you can understand how you should train ur shooting and passing.
My friend is better than me but whole summer i was playing games on pitch with older than me or the same age kids. He is doing ball masteries all trainings and play matches. He is better in one v one's but idk know how good will he be in a real game. I have better vision better passing but i don't see a big progress. What should i do? Please respond you or someone
That's why Messi is the best. He spent his practice time improving his skills instead of improving his body. One of his former teammates said the he hit the angle in 98 out of 100 shots. Unfortunately dumb football fans glorify 3000 abs per minute
This will only appeal to people seeking validation for being undisciplined. Notice he admits that cone drills and effort allowed him to keep up with better athletes.
Good video. I know that people are triggered over this but it's the simple truth. Just play more. Don't hire professional coaches when you're 7, go and play the damn game with other kids.
Dont spread misinformation dude. Just because you obviously did not have any success with "hardwork", doesnt mean that hard work dont work for other people. I have always been successfull in things when I worked my ass off. It seems to me that your hard work actually was not really hard work. And btw what youre saying at the end of the video is really random out of context bs.
This general statement gets clicks but is very misleading and easily misunderstood. You're going to have kids just showing up on time but not putting in the hard work. Smh. Hardwork+talent=opportunity for success.
This is total nonsense. The science behind developing neural pathways and muscle memory is well established and proven. This video is just one man's anecdotal and subjective opinion with no scientific or factual support. Either this dude is genuinely not smart or this video is just deliberate clickbait. That's the nub of it.

you should make a video about r9 and how he is a living example of your teachings.

That was rubbish. No logic nothing appealing at the start and a poor summary and finish. People out there don’t watch this.

Its good roling with tenis ball?
Yes it is very beneficial, it helps you recover faster from minor contact injuries by rolling out the adhesions
