A sudden and hard blow bent my knee inwards and it has been exactly one month since the pop sound. I had surgery, I started rehabilitation and I can honestly say that this is a really bad injury. All I want at this point is to make sure that after rehabilitation and strengthening, it won't tear again. My meniscus and cartilages are completely healthy and only my acl was torn by the impact. Is this bad luck or dysfunction?

Meniscus and cartilages intact are very good news, now work on the principles and prepare yourself to get back stronger and don't commit the same mistakes. You can't have fear of tearing it again, just do your best, listen to your body and intuition, and have confidence in your work.
